Toxic Teammates
Has anyone ever had a fellow survivor literally body block an exit after unhooking them?
I had a bad match where a survivor body blocked the exit and gave the legion the opportunity to down me. I took protection hits for this person and pulls that stunt. And all because I tried to make sure it was safe enough to unhook him and the other survivor after they both got downed and hooked in the basement on the Haddonfield map.
Then he goes and throws insults about intelligence, eyes and hearing. Seriously, if you've played this game long enough, people know its a gamble to unhook a teammate with a killer thats in close proximity. I try to avoid doing that especially when the killers proxy camp.
This honestly isn't the first time I got double crossed by a teammate.

Yup, so when it was time I did the same, sand bagged him then helped the killer be able to catch him while I teabagged him.
Guy body blocked me in a few places, he didn't do a gen/looped or anything, you guys know how bad it feels when you have a chance to drop a pallet and continue looping, well this survivor body blocked the pallet.
At the end, I was full health and he was injured and almost made it to the door, I body blocked the door and let the killer take him, I opened the door and me and my teammates left the match.
Before the killer picked him up, I teabagged his body.

Some people suck man, luck of the draw. You can report body blocking if I'm not mistaken

Yeah. That's why I haven't really played this game. I did report the bodyblock, but nothing will likely be done. Not too mention the whole killers camping survivors with one shot killers or just camping in general. I dont remember there being a lot of that when I first started playing, but I may have just been lucky in not getting campy killers.
That's a rather interesting approach, OldHunter. I'm sure he got mad, lol, but sometimes you have to give a toxic person toxicity back. I don't support that kind if act, but some people want the bad treatment.
Funny thing was, as soon as that person got downed he DC.

I have admittedly done this on accident, I was trying to take a hit for the person but we kept going the same way (we were both trying to get around each other) but I ended up accidentally body blocking them right at the exit gate, and I got chased out the gate while they got hooked to death! I felt so bad tbh 😓

I understand, Asepa. I've done that so many times with friends and other survivors, its an honest mistake. But a learning experience for both, its just difficult to maneuver fast enough for two people to get away in a small spot even protection hits have become hard to execute after a hook safe.
Some people are understanding and don't get butthurt over it, but when its done on purpose than its a problem.

I just had a game where I saved Ash twice from the hook, the killer was not near, I healed him and we fixed 2 gens together. The killer had a pink mori and killed both of the other survivors (killed one, hooked Ash the second time, so I wasn't sure it was a pink mori until later when he killed the other survivor too). Then he finally found me, Ash unhooked me in front of the killer so I would get moried. Then, the killer gave him the hatch. I mean, how toxic is that, I saved him twice just to be betrayed like that.
People have no integrity. I know it is a game, but I never side with the killer unless it is some sort of revenge (like the survivor farming others over and over and me wanting them dead for that, which was not the case). When the killer is clearly trying to use me to get the last survivor or something, I just run away or refuse until the killer is fed up and kills me.

It happens, sadly, and far too often. There are some weirdo Survivors that are working against the others from the START of the game. I'd say these defective people are in the minority, but they exist as do the sad sacks like you describe.

it is more fun having the luck to play with toxic team mates, it is more entertaining and more rivality

Some people just do it because you dont play in a way they want you to. However, bodyblocking does happen without bad intent, too, sometimes due to inexperience or lack of judgement.

Harsh. There's been more toxicity as of late. If I'm near a teammate that's hooked, I try to stay out of sight and what a few extra seconds for the Killer to be a good distance away. Give my teammates a higher chance of getting away safely then unhooking them with the killer still very close, BT comes in handy if you're going to save immediately.

I have seen survivors body block the exit lever. I have seen survivors run to unhook and just stand there and watch me me. Survivors at least will be ######### to each others as often as they are to killers.
some people were never loved.

I played a game where we faced myers, he hung up my team and it was me who rescued them, at 3, I rescued one of them while myers stayed in the zone, with borrowed time and my partner had adrenaline but myers was in the level 3 and I fell down and they waited for the level to drop to save me but they actually abandoned me and still didn't open the doors. they waited for me to die and left...

I had a match against a Myers. I got downed and my teammates abandoned me and left through the hatch. I got picked and didn't bother struggling since there was a hook right there, but the person playing Myers dropped me at the hatch. The person even apologized because he felt bad for tunneling me even though he really wasn't tunneling me, I just happened to step in his line of sight. I do feel good that there's still people who are considerate.

I had a match the other day where I was on one of the cornfield maps with the two story house with a generator on the second floor. One of my teammates body-blocked me in a corner where the chest is and I couldn't make it passed them. They forced me to stay there until I had 3 crows appear.
I ended up throwing the game to make sure that the Killer killed us both.

What a happy ending

Unfortunately yes, it happened while i was in the chase, they just stood there.
Someone tried to block me in the room and alert the killer to my direction.
We can't expect much when it comes to multiplayer, teamwork. trolls are everywhere.

Not related to body blocking but I did experience a troll moment. I had a Nancy and Steve troll me while I was on the hook, they kept faking the unhook until I hit struggle phase. Killer witnessed it and came by and they both started running off. The Nancy got tunnelled to death, the killer wanted me to look for the Steve and so I found him and then pointed at him and then he got hooked, gave him the same treatment, did the fake unhook thingy and then he DC'd. When those toxics died, the killer made me do a lot for points and then decided to let the random soloist guy and I go.

Nice necromancy (the thread is over half a year old).
To the topic I sometimes wish I their was an action for killer to simply shove the blocked survivor aside and go for the jerk. Would also help against bt bodyblocking ;P

Us Mikey players are usually wholesome like that. At least most of us try to be in my experience.

Didn't even realize it was that old. How did I even find this post...

That reminds me of a trial I had. I was playing as Myers and had hooked a Dwight. The poor guy died first hook, he didn't try to unhook himself either; sat on the hook and waited, no one ever saved him.
With that I decided that no one was leaving, Dwight had the misfortune and walking straight into me and me being a non-camping killer left him to be saved and it never happened.
