Dedicated Servers - Not a solution
Are you considering revert to P2P connection ?
Dedicated server is not a solution on a asymetric game !
With dedicated servers you have to rely on your connection ... fine ! Rely on Killer connection to server ... not fine as it doesn't allow us to see if Killer is playing from "Pluto". With P2P at least we are allowed to refuse to play with someone from "Burger King Wi-Fi" with red ping and it's super anoying getting hits from miles. (i'm not talking about preserve pallets ... i'm talking about reaching pallet or even drop and get hit after)

There is no plan to revert back to P2P. Dedicated servers was the most requested feature by the Community and it took a lot of work to implement. There will be Server Sided Hit Validation implemented in due course - this has already been tested on the Live build, which will prioritise the person who has the best connection to the server for hopefully fairer play.

are there any future plans to have an option for the kill your friends option to be player-to-player? (i.e. can choose between servers and player-to-player connection)

I hope hit validation became a thing. I mostly play killer and sometimes survivor and yes sometimes it's annoying i even let the Survivor on ground to recover cuz i saw it was somehow laggy.

Still waiting for that hit validation. Should I pull out my clips of vpners and bad wifi killers? Have the devs thought of showing the killers ping or prioritizing hit validation?
