  • You gotta think about the newer players, even if it's easy for you, someone who hasn't played the game too much might find it quite challenging.

The first time in a match it does catch me off guard sometimes, but yes after enough time spend as survivor hitting that skillcheck ain't that hard. It does prevent gen tapping to stop it regressing, although I almost never use it.

I do have nice overcharge memories tho; I remember a hilarious match when I was still in low ranks with a trapper that kept coming back kicking the gen and me hiding behind a hook in the corn like 5m away. He never caught on I blame corn blindness combined with confusion because I hit the overcharge skillcheck like 5+ times in a row. And I still have a clip somewhere of me hitting an insane backwards mini skillcheck caused by the doctor's impossible skillcheck build, that's really satisfying. So I would say it's situational/ build dependant and works best in lower ranks.

It's for mildly annoying rank 20 people.

It’s a perk that only really catches players off the first time, and only really only shines on Doc.

Overcharge is a perfect example of a perk designed with synergy in mind with their original killer.
