No it's not bannable, meaning the devs won't ever manually ban you for it. Although in the incredibly rare case you somehow got autobanned for it (yet to see that happen to anyone), they will not help unban you. 99.9% sure you will not be banned for it.

No sadly

Surely if you're dropping frames having more stuff on screen at any time is going to make it worse.

No you cant, its like brightness filters or custom perk icons. Feel free to use it at own risk the chance of getting banned is next to 0%

You're not really talking about "stretched" resolution at all, but simply a lower resolution. And of course that's not bannable. I'd be very very surprised if you get in any trouble for just straight up scaling down your res, which sounds like it's what you want. When people talk of "stretched res" in DBD they're usually talking about resolutions that go beyond even 4:3 aspect ratio, and start approaching 1:1.
If you have a 16:9 monitor try 1366×768 resolution. If you have a 16:10 try 1280×800.
The game should look the same and not stretched just like it does on "standard" resolutions like 1920x1080 and 1920x1200 (but with lower resolution, of course), but it should hopefully improve performance.

What stretched res survivors see as I'm coming for them

He’s just trying to cheat. He’s just trying to find out if he can get banned for using it and having a backup plan if he does. “To help with FPS”.

People should get banned for using it it gives a massive advantage to survivors

Nope, as others have pointed out it isn't a rule they could enforce, even if they wanted. I would advise against it, as you will always know (yourself) that you are giving yourself an edge that shouldn't be there. It will make every single victory you achieve hollow and unearned.

Using filters and stretched revolution isn't bannable. Everyone use em all the time.

Stretched resolution doesn't give an advantage anymore, they patched the extra fov it used to give you at around slinger release, you have nothing to worry about unless you somehow manage to not modifiy the settings file properly and tick eac off(which has a very slight chance of happening.)

No, we don’t.

If you watch streamers and youtubers, most use either filters, stretched resolution and perk/killer unique icons. At least in my experience

This ............OMG...this is beautiful XDDD

I would not use the word "everyone" in this context. A lot of people don't use them as they are and jury-rigged advantage. Myself, I would never use them, as I personally consider them a cheat.

Doesn't even give that much advantage unless you're using 1:1 it's just ugly as hell

Brightness filters differently from perks icons and stuff are 100% not bannable

They even warned players about errors with perk icons in the recent patch notes. Perk icons are definitely not bannable.

They do not actively hunt for icons but if eac will auto trigger they won't help you, while if it happens with any video filter they could revert your ban

Ok sorry :3

No worries. It is always risky to use the term everyone, because it is never correct. :)
