When is enough far enough?
So we're all use to the salty behaviour of this community, but when I play killer, good Lord does it reak new peaks. I just cannot understand this secret survivor rule book that killers most obey, and when they're not followed, such as playing noed, the abuse you receive afterwards: some really disgusting abuse anyone should be ashamed of seaying to another human. They ######### about it being a crutch perk and baby killer, yet they carry a key, DS, unbreakable and borrowed time. Now I'm not saying they can't use them, they're valid perks and I use them as a player. I wouldn't verbally abuse a player for using perks that make the game easier for them, so why do killers have to follow made up rules that don't allow them to have an easier game? It all seems a bit "bully in the playground" mentality.
But! The main reason I made an account to ask this question....camping, good golly miss molly. How far away from the hook does the survivor rule book require me before im playing the "right way" as a killer? Stand close to the hook while scratch marks are all around it which, by the survivor rules, I must ignore and walk off to stand in a corner, I go further away on a relatively small map like Haddon field and I'm still proximity camping?!?
Is there an exact measurement, the number of in game feet i must abide by before im allowed to start playing again as killer?
Gosh its such an awful feeling wanting to have a little down time and chill amongst all the horrible things that are going on in the world and a game which has a relatively amount of enjoyment to it, breeds such awful behaviour. But, you know...humans and what not. Its always going to be some grotty little 12 year old behind a keyboard mashing their salty fingers on keyboards at killers "not playing fair". Yet generally being a douche bag in game and promoting your death and/or homophobic language in end game chat. I suppose you just can't win them all.

No matter how you play, you can't make everyone happy. Some people will be upset and fling verbal abuse if they lose, and they'll gloat and fling verbal abuse if they win. Play how you want. I usually try very hard not to tunnel or camp and I still got complaints up until I turned off messages and friend requests (I'm on PS4). I continue to try very hard not to tunnel or camp, but I do it in blessed silence and it feels sooooo much better that way.
