We deployed a fix to solve an issue preventing players from unhooking, healing or picking up Survivors. Players will need to reboot to see the change reflected in-game. Thank you for your patience!

Quality Over Quantity

I normally have no problem defending and supporting the developers when things don't go right with the game. Making new content and ensuring it functions properly is a lot of work, especially in a game as complex as DBD.

However, the amount of bugs and known issues in this patch is inexcusable. It should not have been released in its current state to save face if nothing else. Scott Jund said it best: Any other major developer would NEVER release a new patch this broken.

Devs, if you happen to read this, PLEASE stop holding yourselves to these self-imposed deadlines. It's bad for the game, the community, and your reputation. No amount of new content will keep players excited for long if it isn't functional on release. I am willing to bet the majority of the playerbase would be fine with less updates if it means those updates are actually ready upon release.

Just be honest with yourselves, devs. If you need more time to properly test and fix issues from the PTB, then please give yourself that extra time. I want DBD to thrive and succeed, but it never will if new patches continue to trend this way.
