Add a penalty to all survivors if someone dies on first hook.
If nobody tries to save a survivor and they die on first hook, all other survivors should get a penalty.
Unless the killer stays within a certain radius for that time and the survivor does try to suicide on hook
It's extremely infuriating being in green ranks after rank reset and being left to die on first hook because nobody wants to save. There needs to be a fire under survivor's asses.

I mean there already is a punishment for letting a teammate die on first hook: you're down a player making the killer's job easier.

One thing I like about survivor is that things can go wrong like that. Always play like you're one hook away from death - saves aren't guaranteed.
Always play like the killer has a mori too. Treat pallets and tiles seriously. It will help you.

I'm sorry that happened, bubbale! I hate when I run kindred and still get left for dead. And the rank reset can be ridiculous, especially with the already messy MMR and such. I hope your next matches are more fun and that you escape! Good luck :)!

As far as I know they don't track time on hooks like that, so they likely cannot distinguish between a first hook suicide and being there through both phases and then dying. If true, then your suggestion is undoable.
