Doubt about cross-progression between xbox and steam

Hello, seeing the information on the link below, he says that I can synchronize the account with steam.


Currently I play on the xbox where I bought it, in addition to some DLC's, "golden coins", killers, characters, clothes, etc ... I can synchronize with steam security and I will be able to play on PC and xbox whenever I want it to be the same account correct?


This part I think I understand well, but now what I want to know is whether I need to buy the game on steam to do this too, or the deadbydaylight has a client that works on the PC outside of steam without me having to buy the game again just to synchronize? What they tell me about it, is my biggest doubt

Atualmente eu jogo no xbox onde eu o comprei, além de algumas DLC's, "moedinhas douradas", assasinos, personagens, roupinhas, etc.. eu posso sincronizar com a steam segurança e vou conseguir jogar no PC e xbox quando eu quiser que vai ser a mesma conta correto?


Essa parte acho que entendi bem, mas agora o que eu quero saber é se eu preciso comprar o jogo na steam também para fazer isso, ou o deadbydaylight tem algum client que funcione no PC fora da steam sem eu precisar comprar o jogo novamente só para sincronizar? O que me dizem sobre isso, é a minha maior dúvida

    I've seen it stated in a few places that cross progression is not available on Windows (Xbox/PC Game pass) and Steam, so you won't be able to carry over your account/unlocks/bloodpoints.

    Cross-play is, but NOT cross progression. They're trying to work it out with Microsoft, same with Sony.
