Killer Idea: The Marionette

Appearance: A dirty wooden puppet.


Speed: 110% (4.4 m/s)

Terror Radius: 28 meters

Height: Average

Lunge Range: Average


Ability: Strings

Holding m2 for 1 second will place a string that comes out of the ground and goes straight into the sky. The string has no hitbox, and is incredibly hard to see.

The string can be destroyed if the Survivors find scissors, 4 of which are scattered across the map and replace the item the Survivor was previously holding. After cutting a string, the scissor breaks and can no longer be used. The Marionette can place 6 total strings, and does not gain charges back upon a string being cut.

Holding ctrl for 1 second while looking at a string will have the Marionette immediately teleport to it, by the string pulling it out of the ground before going back into the ground the Marionette came out of. Strings can be used to teleport as long as they are not cut.

If a Survivor gets within 6 meters of a string, it pulls out of the ground and wraps around them, restraining them. It takes a 10 second channel to get out of the string, disabling it for 30 seconds and allowing a Survivor to cut it with scissors. The Marionette cannot teleport to strings that are currently trapping a Survivor or that are disabled.


Add-ons:

Add-ons would have effects such as:

  • Decreasing the time it takes to place a string
  • Decreasing the disable time after a Survivor breaks out of a string
  • Increasing the time it takes to get out of a string
  • Applying Blindness, Hindering, Exhaustion, etc to Survivors who have broken out of a string for 60 seconds.

I have no ideas for Iridescent Add-ons at the current moment. They'll be added if I get any ideas later on.


Perks:

Puppetry - You have a way of controlling your prey, and controlling them well. If a Survivor drops a pallet during a chase that doesn't stun the Killer, that Survivor cannot vault or drop another pallet for 20/30/40 seconds, and suffers from the Exposed status affect for 20 seconds.

Deception - People always assuming they understand what they see, they couldn't be more wrong. If a Survivor stops working on a generator outside of your Terror Radius, the generator will start regressing at 25/50/75% of its normal regression. The generator's aura will slowly decrease in brightness the longer it is regressing.

Buried Alive - Left in the dirt to decay, yet you continue to live more than the real people around you. When a Survivor is unhooked, gain 1 Token (at a max of 2/3/4 Tokens.) For each Token this perk has, hook progression goes 5% faster.

    Updated the perk Buried Alive, changing it from a Hex perk to a normal perk.
