Chapter Title: " PROJECT: " NEMESIS " "

Introducing: " The Tyrant "

Real name: " Unknown "

Backstory: " [REDACTED] "

Map: " Street of the Dead | Raccoon City "

Outfit:

Head: " Menace on a Mission " - A twisted face caused by the Umbrella Corps test to make the ultimate hitmen of mass destruction. Nobody knows who he is, nobody might of known who he was, but he'll carve his name into the tombs of his victims when his mission is complete, and they will read: " NEMESIS "

Torso: " Hazardous Test Subject " - Man isn't strong enough, there isn't enough force and the human body is only capable of doing so little. They took it upon themselves to break through that wall of capability with brute force, and they succeeded with turning a man into a weapon.

Weapon: " Mutated Fists " - Bares Five fingers of a human, but his humanity has been ripped from him. He no longer desires, needs, or wants anymore. He's not distracted by petty things that would be a drive for a human. He's not human, he's a weapon, and he only serves the purpose to eradicate anything he's told too.

Difficulty: Intermediate

Base Stats:

Movement Speed: 115% 4.6 m/s

Terror Radius: 32 meters.

Height: Tall

Power(s): Proceed with Aggression

"TERMINATION" - Press the Action Button to have a long tentacle protrude from your right hand, if the survivor is 12 meters away from you, aim for them and press the attack button while in this mode to launch your tentacle from your hand to the survivor. It will pull them 6 meters closer in an instant. However if the survivor is 6 meters away from you, it'll pull them closer by 3 meters in an instant. If the survivor is 3 meters away from you, the tentacle will injure the survivor instead of pulling them close to you. Successfully Hitting an attack or Missing an attack with the tentacle will cause you to recover for 1.25 seconds before you can launch your tentacle out to them again. When launching a tentacle from your hand, you're slowed down to 100% movement speed.

[Side Power] "Destructive Instinct" - If a pallet is downed and the survivor isn't leaving from the pallet. Press the Action Button right up against the pallet, instead of breaking the pallet you will lift the pallet and run at 172.5% movement speed for 2 seconds at the survivor slamming down the pallet on top of them. This will instantly down them, and break the pallet. If you miss the survivor, the pallet will still break on impact. Recovery time from successful hits or failed hits will take 2.5 seconds.

"LEAP/CHARGE" - Hold the LShift key to charge up "CHARGE" which will cause the Tyrant to burst out sprinting at 230% movement speed to run across the map, hitting into walls while still charging will not stop him, his turning in this mode is lowered but sharp turns will make him slide to turn and charge the way you direct him. Release the LShift to stop running when you feel like it. While holding LShift, press the Space bar to "LEAP" forward in front of you, the Tyrant will jump over obstacles that stand in his way [Note: Leap works best in outdoor maps, in indoor maps it'll be lowered in a way so he can still use the ability]. While holding LShift if you ever want to attack, press the Attack Button to release an attack with your fist while you're barreling forward, pressing this will stop you from sprinting if you hit a successful or missed attack. Successful attacks result in the survivor getting instantly downed if the Tyrant is charging for over 10 seconds. Pressing the attack button will also result in instantly destroying any down pallets or breakable walls. It will take 2.3 seconds to activate your CHARGE.

Addons: [W.I.P.]

Ultra Rare

" " -

Whenever using LEAP, you will activate a QUAKE with an area of effect around 6 meters from you. Anyone within the 6 meter radius will be instantly downed upon you landing back to the ground. Any survivor around you within 24 meters will let out a scream revealing their location for 4 seconds. If you land directly on a survivor, that survivor will remain Broken for 240 seconds. Anytime that survivor is saved off of a hook while broken, they will be Hindered for 20 seconds. Survivors within the 6 meter radius will be inflicted with Mangled for 120 seconds. [Survivors who get inflicted with Mangled are the survivors outside of the epicenter but inside the area of effect.]

"UMBRELLA CORP ROCKET LAUNCHER" - They're becoming more irritating the longer they live, and they're standing in your way, preventing you from completing your main objective. It's time to lay out some real fire-power.

TERMINATION's ability is switched with "Rocket Launcher". There are 5 cases of Rocket Launcher Ammo, each case will reload your rocket launcher to full. You carry 4 rockets in your rocket launcher each time. You start out with 4 rockets, and can use them at any time. Rockets will instantly down a survivor if they're directly hit with a rocket. Rockets have an area of effect that ranges at 6 meters. Rockets will go in a straight path and will not have any fall off effect. If a survivor is in the area of effect and is not hit directly with a rocket, they will get injured. If they're already injured, then they will get downed. Your rocket launcher has a laser pointer equipped with it that will only range at 8 meters away from you. Rockets move at 230% 9.2 m/s. If a survivor is on death hook, you can shoot them with the rocket launcher to have a quick Mori. If a rocket lands near him, and he's in the area of effect it will stagger the Tyrant for 2 seconds. The Tyrant will have 24 rockets in total per trial. Rockets can instantly destroy pallets and breakable walls, if a survivor is 8 meters away from a pallet or breakable wall that gets blown up by a rocket, the survivor will stumble and have to take 1.75 seconds to recover.

-----------------------------

Very Rare

"BURNING FUEL TANK" - Equipped with a Flamethrower, it doesn't work how it was supposed too anymore, but doesn't mean you still can't use it in other ways.

Whenever using LEAP, you will activate a QUAKE with an area of effect around 16 meters from you will be engulfed in flames. Any survivors in the area of effect will scream revealing their location for 2 seconds and become injured while trying to put out the flames. Survivors in the area of effect will be Hindered for 25 seconds. Any survivor burning will be glowing bright from the flames on them, giving their position away.

"BROKEN PIECE OF CONCRETE" - A massive piece of concrete taken from the wall of the apartment complex Jill Valentine started out in. It's durable for the most part, and can get the job done pretty well.

Pallets will be replaced with broken slabs of concrete. Destroying them will take 1.2 seconds more than usual. But if you grab the concrete, you can use it up to 3 times before it breaks.

" " -

When you activate your CHARGE and maintain it for 2 seconds become Undetectable until you stop.

" " -

When you CHARGE, if you hit into a pallet, you'll maintain your CHARGE and continue to sprint forward. But have to sprint for another 10 seconds after you run through a pallet or wall before you can instantly down a survivor.

" " -

Survivors caught by TERMINATION will be inflicted with the Oblivious status effect for 60 seconds.

Perks:

Perk #1: "Obsession: TARGET ACQUIRED" - Make them suffer for blocking your objective. You become obsessed with one survivor, if the obsession has Endurance or other players are blocking you from attacking your obsession, then you can attack through their defenses and injure your obsession. Hold down the attack button while chasing the obsession to attack through 1/2/3 different ways of defense. Successful attacks upon any survivor blocking you from the obsession, will injure them and will allow you to continue your attack. If the obsession has endurance and you use this, if you land a successful attack you suffer no cooldown but you are slowed down by 2% allowing the survivor a slight chance. Successful hits on other survivors in your way, suffer no successful hit cooldown until you successfully hit your obsession. [If you down your obsession after they were saved from a hook, the person who saved will become your new obsession.]

"S.T.A.R.S.!" - The Tyrant

Perk #2: "UNSTOPPABLE" - They will know what lengths you'll go to eliminate your objective. Anytime a survivor tries to stun you while carrying a survivor, it'll take 1/2/3 more successful pallet stuns to save the survivor being carried. The killer will be stunned for a normal duration as if he wasn't carrying the survivor, however it pauses the survivors struggle bar until he's able to walk forwards again. If any survivors are within 6 meters of you, your speed will increase by 5% for each survivor around you. If a survivor stands in your way and blocks your path, instead of injuring them, you push them aside stunning the survivor for 2 seconds for them to recover. Flashlight save will take 5 seconds longer than normal.

Perk#3: "FORCE OF DESTRUCTION" - Destroy anything that prevents you from completing your mission. Anytime you kick a generator, you will gain one token out of 3/4/5 tokens at max. Anytime another generator has any progress on it, if you press the attack button to hit a generator [Even while a survivor is still currently on it and repairing it], the generator will blow up as if you kicked it, damaging the generator. This will consume one token from your stack and will take 35/25/15 seconds until you can use another token again. The generator will also regress by 3% if ever hitting a generator successfully. Any gen regression perks that apply an effect to a gen [Ex: PGTW, OC, DG, etc] will also be applied. If a survivor is repairing a gen and you hit it, it will cause the survivor to stop what they're doing for 1.5 seconds and treat it as if they missed a skillcheck.

Mori: The tyrant will have his tentacles lift you off the ground and stab at you as he brings your face to his hand once more. While you bleed from the tentacle puncturing your body, he will raise you up high and slam your head down with all his force crushing it. Your head will burst into blood, bones, and brains. He'll lift his hand with blood and gore sticking to it as he pulls away from the ground, then wipes his hand off on his leg.

Lockers: He will let out a low groan and reveal his tentacle that will protrude out of his right hand to threaten you, and instead of grabbing them by the neck, he will grab them by their face holding it tightly and drag them out of their hiding place.

Successful Hit: He'll clench his fist as it drips with blood, while giving off a low groan as if feeling successful for following his direct orders.

Carrying a Survivor: If the Tyrant decides to pick a survivor up, he won't carry them in the traditional way that killers usually carry survivors. Instead of throwing them over his shoulder, he'll grab them by their face and drag them to the hook to be sacrificed. He can still be blinded and injured like normal, however the way he treats his victims will show how little he cares for what condition they're brought.

Breaking Pallets: He'll lay his right foot onto the pallet as he raises both his hands in the air, left hang holding his right hand that has been clenched into a fist. He'll swing his fist down onto the pallet destroying it when he brings his fists down upon it.

Breaking Walls: He'll slam his left hand onto the wall resting it there to keep him steady. Then will raise his right hand, clenched in the fashion of a fist. He'll punch through the wall with his right fist slamming into it and breaking it down.

Damaging Generators: He'll punch the generator with his left hand while he simultaneously raises his right to swing a final blow to the generator, damaging it.

Introducing: " Jill Valentine "

Backstory: [W.I.P.]

Difficulty: Intermediate

Outfit:

Head: " Jill Valentine " - She still suffers from nightmares after the experience she had in the mansion, years ago. She'll never get over the horrors she saw or faced, but she won't lie on the ground and let them take her. She'll fight till she can't fight anymore.

Torso: " Tactical Casual Wear " - Forced into a situation with a group of soldiers, she wasn't prepared at first to face what would be called her " NEMESIS ", just because she wasn't prepared fully at the start doesn't make her weak. But she's prepared now, and ready to face off the horrors she tried to stay away from.

Pants: " Law Enforcement Belt " - Belt with gear and a badge, equipped with an empty gun holster on her right leg and wearing combat boots. She'll keep going until she's home-free.

New Item:

Flashbang - Drop the flashbang to instantly blind any killer or survivor within 5 meters of it. Blindness for both Killer and Survivor last for 3 seconds.

Perks:

Perk #1: "Obsession: EVASIVE MANEUVER" - Don't let them suffer for something you brought. Anytime you safely save a survivor from a hook, you gain one token out of 1/2/3 tokens. Anytime you're being chased by the killer, press E while healthy or injured to dodge any in coming attack, you will zoom to the side, either left or right depending on your direction. When you zoom, you take no damage and force the killer to miss an attack. If you have endurance active, it will take away all the tokens you have if the killer lands a successful hit on you. If you use all your tokens at once, you will have a 60% chance to stumble, causing you to fall over in place and will force you to recover which will take 2.6 seconds to fully recover. This perk does not count as an exhaustion perk, however if you stumble you're also afflicted with the Exposed status effect for 30 seconds. If you're not the obsession, using this perk will force you to become the new obsession.

"It's me he's after. I'll buy you some time." - Jill Valentine

Perk #2: "SELF-SUFFICIENT" - This isn't the first injury you got, and it sure as hell won't be the last. When healing yourself with a med-kit, your healing speed is increase by 14%. If you successfully heal yourself at 75%/50%/25%, the rest of the healing bar will slowly complete itself at 3/6/9 seconds. Consumption of charges on med-kits are reduced by 25%. Med-kits will be highlighted to you in Yellow, if a survivor is holding a med-kit, their aura will be revealed to you at map wide. In 24 meters, the aura of any med-kits on the floor will be revealed to you. Any depleted med-kit you pick up will gain 15% of it's charges back. This also spawns Herb bushes in the map that you can take leaves from to help you heal yourself if needed. These Herb bushes can only be interacted with if you have this perk equipped. A max of 9 Herb bushes spawn in every trail.

[Herb Bush Variants - Green Herb: 25% of your heal bar is completed. Blue Herb: 10% of your Heal Bar will be completed every 30 seconds. Red Herb: Combine with other Herbs to fully heal yourself after 20 seconds. Some Herbs can cause a new status effect called " Poisoned " which will remove 5% of your health bar progress every 2 seconds for 30 seconds. Heal yourself with a med-kit or by another survivor to stop the effect [NOTE: Self-Care does not count]. If the bar is completely depleted, then you'll be affected by a type of Deep Wound, to fight it off, you must Purge to save yourself.]

Perk #3: "Obsession: PROTECT AND SERVE" - If putting yourself in front of danger saves lives, then you will face danger head-on. If a killer misses an attack, or is carrying a survivor, you can run at the killer and jam a combat knife in their leg, stunning them for 1/1.5/2 seconds. Once it has been used, it can never be used again. This perk can not be used to save yourself if you're being carried by the killer. To use this perk, press the attack button to jab with the knife. You have the ability to land the hit or miss it. If you miss your attack, it will not take away your combat knife. At the start of the trail, the perk will be deactivated and will only become active if you're chased by the killer for 60 seconds. Any obsession previously will have their aura revealed for 120 seconds. If the killer has been recently stunned, you must wait 30 seconds before you can stun him with this perk, if you attempt to stun him with this perk, it will injure you but the perk will still be active.

"You want S.T.A.R.S., I'll give you S.T.A.R.S.!" - Jill Valentine

What is a man, other than a weapon of mass destruction? A tyrant of suffering, a beast to cause pain and agony to his victims. When man desires violence, then give them violence. When a subject stands in the way of progress, then proceed with aggression so they shall no longer stand in your way. You're not a man, you're a weapon with a goal. The goal to follow orders, and do as you're told. Nothing will stand between you and your goal, nobody will dare to block your path, and if they do you crush them into oblivion. For is anyone dares to slow you down, or stop your mission, you will make shudder when they hear your call, they will flee from your shadow, for they will know the name: " NEMESIS "

First reactions: This is so cool. You’re putting me in the mood to play Resident Evil right now.

Protect and Serve could end up being too strong because a Survivor can just stay close to a Killer while they’re in a chase and give the carried one a free escape. Not activating it isn’t a counter because it’ll tell that Survivor that they’re pretty much invulnerable and can do whatever they want because the Killer doesn’t want your perk to activate. It’s going to be even worse if multiple people have it or you’re against an SWF. You’re pretty much guaranteed to have it activate, and even one dropped Survivor can be a big deal.

Also blowing up the Survivors with the rocket launcher would be so much fun.

    B_Random Member Posts: 370

Yeah I can see that. I wanted something specifically that fit with Jills character, specifically from the Remake. But things I saw were kind of things that were already made, so I had to think a little outside and I thought to myself. What if a Survivor had a weapon? So yeah. I might increase the time it takes, and tweak it to a way it can't be abused as the new SWF's go too perk.

Also I was trying to think of something to work with Nemesis that was an Ultra rare and I realized to myself, there are not many projectile powers or even projectile based addons (that change up the power completely). So Yeah, I added the Rocket Launcher, and I tried to make it in a way where it feels like a better Iridescent Head, but also would reward players for actually getting direct hits and punish players who try to get a direct hit when they're up close and personal to a survivor. Since if you're up close and personal to a survivor, it's better to just smack them and move on.

If you're not the obsession, using this perk will force you to become the new obsession.

"It's me he's after. I'll buy you some time." - Jill Valentine

Evasive Maneuver seems like it would be a nice addition to the list of more perks being added for DBD but also having a quick knockdown if survivors use it too much, a fair balance of what would happen if survivors try to abuse it. Maybe making the perk up to 10 seconds or so to recover would make it challenging, but either way it might just be fair for the survivors, not sure if it would be that much for killers.

"Perk #2: "SELF-SUFFICIENT" - This isn't the first injury you got, and it sure as hell won't be the last. When healing yourself with a med-kit, your healing speed is increase by 14%. For the bushes part, I believe they're called "Herbs" in the Resident Evil games, they go by color variations such as Green,Blue and Red. A singular green herb can be used to heal if small damage has been done to the player, if combined with 3 or 2 more Green Herbs they can completely heal the player if in the "Danger" state of health. Blue herbs can be used to be mixed with green and be used if the player has been poisoned. Red herbs are useless by themselves, mixing them with green herbs fully heals the player. Maybe a poisoned state can be added into this thread as well, would be another status effect to potentially have if it ever surfaces into the game.

Perk #3: "Obsession: PROTECT AND SERVE" - If putting yourself in front of danger saves lives, then you will face danger head-on. Any obsession previously will have their aura revealed for 120 seconds.

"You want S.T.A.R.S., I'll give you S.T.A.R.S.!" - Jill Valentine

I like the idea that Jill has one of those unique perks such as stabbing with a combat knife as an alternative version of decisive strike, adds more to survivors being able to attack back at the Killer. Stabbing at a killer with a combat knife sounds like a good idea, also may I ask if the knife is only available for those who are the current obsession? If not, I'd like a further clarification on that since it can be somewhat confusing, if the killer manages to kill their obsession and if there's another survivor who happens to turn into that next obsession while also having that same perk then it might just have to be reworked, if this DLC ever comes to fruition of course.

I actually had similar ideas such as Leon and Claire being both survivors while Mr. X was the killer, map being the RCPD of course. However it might be somewhat of a struggle to get the rights of the characters from Capcom; we'll see what can happen in the near future. I'll edit this post later on when this thread gets more updates.

I don't know if this is just me but, this killer seems really strong, like REALLY strong. Which I guess makes sense for Nemesis. I don't think Nemesis would fit for this game though, he's simply to tall. The devs would have to rework a lot of maps to accommodate his size.

  • B_Random
    B_Random Member Posts: 370

I mean he's 7 feet tall. I don't think that's really tall. Plague is really tall but you know. But, I made sure not to make him TOO STRONG. Since yes, he is strong. But not TOO STRONG. It's like Nurse. He's the strongest when the player knows how to play them right.

  • QwQw
    QwQw Member Posts: 4,531

I thought Nemesis was more like nine feet tall, guess I was wrong. It wouldn't be a stretch to me is he became the best killer in the game.

According to the RE wiki, remake stage 1 Nemesis is over 8.7 feet tall. He'd have to be shrunk down to around 7 feet tall to fit through some of the doorways.

  • B_Random
    B_Random Member Posts: 370

If he was shrunk a little idk if that would matter.

I'm looking for feedback on the power, addons, perks, not if he would fit due to his height. I need feedback on the more important things like that.

Are you going to update the remainder of Nemesis’s add-ons with numbers (the more recent Killers have shown that slightly/moderately/considerably/tremendously can mean anything) and names?

Also will the flashbang have any add-ons?

Probably, on your first question will be my answer.

And atm no, for the second but maybe in the future.
