Is Map RNG really needed?
hey,
we all know these maps where the pallets spawn all next to each other and the survivor can link every jungle gym perfectly to each other and/or have filler pallet after filler pallet. And the opposite where the map spawns pretty much empty and most of the filler pallets are missing.
i had today a grim pantry that spawned nearly empty. the whole middle section was empty. not even wooden crap tiles, not a singe pallet...nothing. one shack pallet, two pallets in the grim pantry and one pallet in the smaller building+ one jungle gym in the corner of the map.
while as killer i have 2-3 save loops in the middle section.
There a cases where tiles, like the iron truck or badly placed hills, create huge dead zones. in other cases there already tons of pallets but rng spawns still double pallets in loops like on badham preschool.
wouldnt it be more fair and balanced if there was a fixed spawn...not extremly good or bad just normal with a fair chance for both sides?
the mapspawn shouldnt decide that much over dying or escaping.
do we really need the rng to keep the matches exiting?
