My hopes for the Clown rework
I'm sure we all saw the sneak peek of the Clown rework (if you didn't it's on the official dbd twitch) and it's raised questions about what we're going to get from it. We know from leaks that new Clown will have two variations of bottles, so let's start with that.
I assume that he's going to have his normal afterpiece tonic, and then another bottle with a different effect. The problem is what we have now really has everything you need. In a chase, something like a mangled status effect (something I considered the second bottle may do) isn't useful. And hopefully the devs don't play with exhaustion. I might be missing something here, so feel free to reply with ideas.
What I personally want out of the second bottle is something that can be changed drastically with addons. We saw that different gas clouds can be combined, so maybe at basekit the second bottle can add more punch to the Afterpiece Tonic as a placeholder ability.
As for addons, I already said that I want the addons to have to do with the second bottle. If this were to happen, I think the addons should be structured as follows:
Brown-two addons that improve afterpiece tonic (reload speed, throw speed, expands gas cloud, etc.), a bloodpoint addon, and one that improves the second bottle.
Yellow-Three addons that improve the Afterpiece tonic, Two that improve the second bottle.
Green-One addon that attaches some sort of status effect to the Afterpiece Tonic, Two that improve it, and two that change the effect of the second bottle.
Purple- One addon that attatches a status effect to the Afterpiece tonic, Three that change the effect of the second bottle
Red-Your usual niche red addons. Maybe one could allow you to throw both bottles at once.
Here are some addon ideas for the second bottle:
-Any generators hit by the bottle or that are in its gas cloud will automatically start regressing.
-The second bottle will force survivors to complete skillchecks and leave a locker before they suffocate. (this is actually an idea for the basekit but idk where to put it)
-The Clown has no cooldown for missed basic attacks and 50% less cooldown to successful basic attacks when in his gas cloud.
-Hitting a chest with a bottle will cause it to erupt with gas when opened (equal amount to a thrown bottle, with the chest being the center) and the survivor will scream.
-Survivors caught in a gas cloud for long enough will suffer from sickness (yes, the Plague's sickness) until they work on a generator that gets completed, are healed by another survivor, or are put into the dying state. Survivors suffering from sickness are immediately injured, and can be healed by other survivors but not themselves.
These can be mixed with the Afterpeice tonic to create new effects, giving the Clown tons of depth.
You could say this is a little much considering what we saw in the sneak peek, and you'd be right! To be honest this is more of a full on concept than my realistic hopes or expectations. Anyway, thanks for taking time to read this.

it was on twitch, not twitter. That's a mistake on my part.

i honestly don't think the second bottle increases your speed (a lot of people think it might), say what you want and i'm not saying it can't but why would an antidote make you faster isn't it supposed to do something when interacting with the tonic?
I think after you get hit by the tonic gas for a limited time if you also go into the antidote gas you will get a heavy debuff. It would make sense as if you look in the video the tonic gas has its effect right away judging by its color but there's a delay with the antidote gas from where it lands as a white gas until it turns orange.
I think that once you go into the antidote gas as it is orange the slow down, screen blur, and maybe another effect will be worse than the default tonic effects. However if you only go into it as it is white you won't be affected by it in fact it might even cure you of the tonic effect and i think that because if you could get the effect to apply that easily it would also have a weak effect so adding strategy to the antidote gas would justify it having a strong effect. Meaning you need to throw the antidote bottle to block off routes so the survivor can't pass through it before it turns orange and if they pass though it as it's orange they will be severely punished. the only question is if they need to also be affected by the tonic gas for the extra debuffs to apply when going through the antidote gas.

I kinda thought it was white at first cuz the purple hadnt entirely dissipated yet. Meaning each bottle has its own effect and combined they create a 3rd.
Speculation is fun.

I think it wasn't mixed, the moment the second bottle hits the ground the tonic gas went away.
Either it was perfectly timed, only one gas cloud can be out at a time, or your right and they mix.
actually i do believe it was perfectly timed because you can see that the gas starts dissipating before the next bottle hits the ground and it was around 9ish seconds when it started dissipating which is around the time clowns gas at default lasts.

If the white is a delay then I'd almost bet that the yellow one deals damage. Can't think of any status effect that'd need a delay.

i don't think it will deal damage i think it will also hindered but like 3x or more stronger than tonic's hindered effect.
maybe it would be a UR addon where if they stay in the gas it will deal damage or apply the broken status effect but i don't think it would damage you at base and considering how clown works i think it basically being a path blocker survivors can't risk going through would make sense and would honestly be good.
however i truly think that you first need to hit them with the tonic otherwise it wouldn't make sense to call this secondary power afterpiece antidote. perhaps we may get a new status effect unique to clown thats similar to plague but considering how his gas works i think it will only apply to you for a short time after being in tonic gas.
edit: or maybe this status effect lasts until you go into the antidote white gas phase that would be interesting, trying to get into the gas before it becomes a major threat to you.

The cloud in the sneak peek looks like it expands incredibly slowly. I am worried about this.
