A different "experiment" idea.

Since the devs checked out how bloodlust affects gameplay, how about a bigger-impact experiment ? How about a no chase music experiment ? I think it'd be really interesting to see how it affects chases and would give some insight into the role sound plays for killers. What do you guys think ?

They already understand the effects and balances regarding terror radius (chase music included). That’s why it’s still mainstream in-game, as devs have mentioned their being content with keeping it intact, and even reworking and personalizing each killer’s theme.

It’s also why Michael F. April gets paid the big bucks to stick around and do what he does so well.

I will say, w/o the menacing chase music there may be less anxiety during the loop, and could potentially prove to make things more boring with a feeling of emptiness.

Another interesting experiment would be to turn off the aim dressing for a weekend and see how it changes hits and get feedback on how it looks and feels to play without.

A no chase music weekend would be really interesting to gague how much it effects both sides.

This actually makes a lot of sense to test as one of the reasons the devs brought up not doing the test on perks is that they aren't in every game.

This however opens the door for testing how no aim dressing effects the game as it is in every game.
