As a nurse main who has played her for 3 yrs on ps4 I'm just going to tell you this. The thing that pisses me off the MOST that a survivor can do..is running around a tree. Nurses get heavily punished for missing, and also get autoaimed a lot. The best way to counter her is to read how she plays when you break LoS, and play accordingly. But if she gets to close, run around a tree and hope to god she doesn't hit you through it.

That's easy though. People who play nurse like I do short blink to catch people off guard when they double back, and use the second blink to catch up.

If your not in SWF voicecoms, there is very little you can do vs a truly amazing nurse on a very open map like Ormond.

The main weakness of Nurse is that she either hardcore telegraphs her approach in a way that lets you book it to an obstacle laden place that can mess with her auto-aim, or she struggles really hard to patrol, meaning that stealth is better vs her because she loses more gen progress not getting into chase for each gen she checks.

The amount of good nurses however is EXTREMELY low. A lot of nurses seem really good simply because they got good at countering the most basic attempts to juke nurse so it seems like you can't do anything. Vs a nurse you are rewarded with basically forcing her to use her power again if you successfully juke the port, which is possible, its just a hard skill to learn due to the rarity of nurses and the fact that you can only screw up twice before your practice session is over.

When in doubt: Counter a killer by making being on gens your job, and avoiding engaging in chases in the first place your preferred solution. While vs most killers you want to try to draw out chases rather than hide, the most common killers survivors have issues with come down to them rewarding stealth play far more than looping.

Also, as a survivor, YOU have control over the map. You should never be playing on a map of the killer's choice unless you get really unlucky on offering RNG, its always going to either be a map you chose or a random one. This makes killers that over-preform on some maps less of an issue than it might seem: Sure Doc is insane on Game or Hawkins but he can't force that map unless its against a non-SWF group that doesn't agree on who is using a map offering in the lobby.

Good nurses either see you starting to double back or learn from your previous play and aim the camera towards the ground when you do to short blink instead of their original long blink. They can't actually stop mid blink.
