I want to pimp my basement!
So we have hook charms but what about being able to pimp our basements with different bloodstains? Or rats, bodyparts etc nailed on the wall? Let us make our basements a bit more personal and scary.

Hanging flickering lights. Nailed body parts. Creepy paintings. Weird ritualistic symbols painted in blood on the floor. Hands reaching through holes in the walls. Disturbing polaroids. A wall of crazy. Strings of holiday lights.
I'd pimp that baby out.
Edit: Oooh, and individual "Missing" posters for the survivors. That could be fun, too.

I would love for more unique things for the killers, or just more customization options, because if I'm being honest, the charms kinda suck. I would 100% rather have them be Iri shards in the Rift then charms, but that's just my opinion.
I'm more partial to the idea of the Basements being unique based on killers. Imagine Ghostface's, it'd be filled with newpaper articles of his crimes. It'd be sick. Blight could have a whole bunch of alchemy and Pustula Serum all around. The Twin's could have whatever random garbage they had. It'd be awesome.

This is actually a great idea. Any way that you can build your own identity in a game helps build a stronger player engagement. I think the versatility would be a refreshing aspect, too!

Well you can already "decorate" hooks and characters with charms so this would only expand that.

I like the idea, but I'd probably end up dying every match due to admiring what the killer did with the place, then having the killer come down to "greet" me

Honestly that would probably just be another method of monetization, as cool as it would be.
I would prefer that the basement be themed around the map it is in. Giving the realm more of a unique feel.

Cosmetics are what every game eventually devolves into, and becomes especially necessary to keep the barebones maintenance team paid as the game ages and the playerbase dwindles...so, why not? 😝
