struggling on the hook is playing the game

I know ppl give up when hooked, but it's part of the game.
Even if your face is camped. You are still playing the game.

Because pressing 1 button repeatedly and not being able to move or do anything is fun.

Not to mention in a game that revolves around stealth, tracking, timing, etc "Mash the A button to not lose!" is jarring. It goes from Metal Gear to Mario Party.

And entity help you if your internet hiccups for even a second while you are mashing that sucker.

Mash struggling needs to go.

Getting rid of mash struggling might open up new opportunities for perks to play with the hook in more interesting ways.

Hell even like, increasingly difficult skillchecks would be better than just mashing struggle.
