Platform Switch

Hello fellow DBD players, I just wanted to get some other opinions on my little dilemma I've got going on here.

For context I am a Xbox One killer main. I have all my survivors leveled up, and about half my killers P3.

I am finally in a position where I have the time and finances to build a gaming pc. I've been told that overall DBD is a much better experience on PC. I would like to inevitably switch and make PC my main DBD platform. The issue is I don't want to throw away all that progress that I have on Xbox, and have to start all over again.

I was wondering if it would be worth it to go ahead and switch right away (and gain the advantages of playing DBD on PC but have to start all over again), or would it be better to just wait on any news for cross progression (and wait for it if it comes to Xbox).

Thanks in advance to any who read my post and to any who decide to give their feedback.

Edit: I suppose I should also mention that I own all the DLC's and I main Oni (I also play a lot of Blight and Legion)

I wouldn't wait they haven't announced cross progression for xbox so it might never come. They promised switch cross progression in september it is now december and there still isn't a new date for that... I started on switch and am glad I didn't wait because I would still be waiting.... I already had 2 DLC on switch but decided to get them again since I enjoy them. In 6 months I have all killer perks unlocked, 1 P3 50 killer and a little start in survivor to have a usable build. It is horrible to climb the rank and grind again but it is worth it. For example I love my steady FPS and I get to try the PTB.😁

In your case I would start on PC and only buy the DLC you actively use right now. If you grinded that out and there still isn't cross progression for xbox I would consider buying more DLC.
