    You're in luck!

Pop Goes the Weasel is currently in the Shrine of Secrets for 2000 shards, you can skip Clown for now, unless you want the killer and other perks.

Unless you've already got most of the killers and are just filling out your roster you should buy the killers you think are fun to play and not worry about their perks. You'll get more bang for your buck playing a killer you enjoy than you will buying a killer, not playing them, and then maybe eventually getting one of their perks on a different killer that might make them slightly better (maybe).

That being said Pop Goes the Weasel is a good perk. It's maybe the best gen slow down perk aside from the Ruin + Undying combo.

As a survivor I hate Pop, so I'd say yes.

Absolutely. Pop gives you tremendous value off of hooking survivors.

I didn't really think much about Pop until Otz pointed out, it takes a lot of time to pick up a downed survivor, walk them to a hook and put them on it. Pop gives you powerful gen regression for doing your main objective of hooking survivors so yeah it's great imo.

The only other real options are like, Corrupt Intervention which only lasts the beginning of the match and Ruin which can be cleansed and is less pro-active but still very powerful.

Clown also has bamboozle and pop in his tree. As a killer he sucks though. And if you want to even your chance just a little bit I guess Pop and Bamboozle is worth it especially on killers that down survivors easily.

Pop is a great perk, kinda. It's much more consistent than say, Ruin, because it can't be taken away from you, but it requires you to give up chases to pop a gen, and there's always the chance that Survivors will do a generator in your face as your walking to it. But still, a fantastic perk.

It's a good perk, but for generator regression, ruin + undying are just better.

I disagree. Most games ruin and undying are gone within 5 minutes. Until they come up with better totem spawns, that combo will never be good.

Good on most killers, annoying for all survivors when its used right. I've been in games where PGTW can be the difference maker between survivors escaping or getting stonewalled by a killer. I'd say it also has a fair amount of flexibility so it can fit seamlessly into most loadouts.

Pop is one of the better perks yeah. And Clown is getting a small rework soon so who knows he might be hella strong in a month or two

You think ruin undying is bad do you?

Try finding the time to look and take out totems when you’ve got a killer who’s getting a hook every minute.

A hook every minute eh. What killer is this? Stridor Spirit? Forever Freddy?

Its why Noed is not really an issue. Its not hard to take out five totems between four people.

There’s a problem if ur taking on average longer than a minute to get downs. Most if not all decent killers can do it. Only a very limited number of exceptions exist, often involving very good survivors, a rare sight.

Noed isn’t an issue because you have the whole game to take it out AND it’s easy to take out in endgame. You can’t afford to spend the whole game getting rid of ruin undying it just doesn’t work. Sure you may get rid of it but by then the game’s almost over.

Pop is used by many big time Killer Mains, Its worth it for sure.

On some killers yes, some killers no. It is good on Freddy because he can teleport to generators, Wraith/Nurse/Spirit/Blight/Blight etc because they can move around the map and catch up to survivors faster and Trapper/Hag because they are more territorial killers. I wouldn't recommend it on Ghostface, Myers, Bubba... because the low mobility these kinds of killers have makes Pop less usable and when used less worthy. For them Ruin/Undying is a much better combo.

It depends (sort of). On a high-mobility killer that can kick the generator and immediately catch up to a survivor (or at least within a reasonable amount of time) then sure. And as a perk it is definitely worth having even if you're only going to use it two or three times in a trial, and though there are probably better options PGTW is never the worst regression perk.

However, it does have some hefty downsides. It takes a lot of time to walk to a generator, kick it, then resume whatever it is you were doing.

Depends on your style and killer you are playing

Since pgtw nerf and undying introduction, pgtw transitioned from S tier to A, but it's still extremely decent.
