New Killer: The Scientest

I know, I know. The name's lame.


Height: Average

Tr: 24 meters

Speed: 115%

Chosen Weapon: A dense metal baton used to knock out test subjects to prevent them from struggling, modified with blades welded on to it.


Lore:

Dennis Courtney had given everything to earn a job at Lery's memorial institute. He was attempting to pioneer his own field, he thought he could combine human blood with the blood of other organisms to create a super soldier. The CIA approved of this plan despite the fact that it would require human test subjects, but luckily Courtney volunteered to use himself. He never kept that promise. His work was tedious and had a rather large death toll, but the fruits of his trouble came eventually. He had at last managed to produce an effective formula. But then it all collapsed when he heard glass breaking. The sound of an electrical explosion. Screaming followed by the smell of burnt flesh. But most terrifying of all...he heard laughter. Maniacal, twisted laughter. He grabbed his case of samples and ran, but heard crackling behind him. A jolt runs down him and he collapses. He hears someone slowly approach. He's going to die. But suddenly fog washes over him. His body was never found, and neither was the body of the man chasing him.


Power: Deranged COmpound

Hold the Power Button when standing over a blood pool or a survivor who is in the dying state to collect a blood sample with your syringe. You have an infinite supply, but only 4 can be filled at a time. Using it on a blood pool will take the blood pool off the map, but you may get up to two samples from one downed survivor. Pressing the Power Button while you have a filled syringe in your possession will cause you to pull it out. From here you have options. You can press the Power Button again to put it away, you can attack, or you can press the Active Ability button to inject the sample into yourself, resulting in a speed boost. It can also be used to quickly vault windows, or instantly destroy a pallet or wall. The effect lasts 5 seconds. You can combine two samples from two different survivors to strengthen the effect. Combining two of these mixed syringes will make a Deranged Syringe.

Deranged Syringes

Combining two "mixed" syringes makes a deranged compound. Use these on survivors in the dying state to inject them with the compound. Once they return to the injured state, this will immediately cause the new Deterioration status effect. The compound slowly dissolves their mind, their bones, and their organs, with intensifying effects depending on how long the survivor has been suffering:

-10 seconds: Attempting to do any action will result in a considerably difficult skill check. Failure will cause the action to be unable to be started again for 5 seconds.

-20 seconds: The entire map is tinted red from the survivor's point of view (same shade as the killer's red stain)

-30 seconds: the screen goes static and white text with a black background will flash shortly: "Ready for reprogramming" the text reads. Then the screen will go back to normal. Random bits of static start to invade the screen.

-40 seconds: the screen goes static and white text with a black background will once again flash shortly: "Reprogramming initiated" the text reads. Then the screen will go back to normal. Static flashes again and now whenever the survivor walks by a pallet they automatically drop it. They will automatically fail every skill check that appears. They will be forced to slow vault every window and pallet. This persists until the survivor is hit.

To cure these effects, the survivor can either be put into the dying state again (cures them permanently), or they can remove the syringe to prevent the effects for 30 more seconds.

Attacking with the syringe

attacking a survivor with a full syringe will inject them with the sample. The syringe will attach to the survivor and they will have to pull it out before they get downed. They have 15 seconds to do this and doing so will heal them to the healthy state but cause a noise notification.

Perks:

Fatal fascination: Those who trespass against you will suffer. Every 90/80/70 seconds, you can kick a generator to apply this perk. the next survivor to attempt to repair the generator will suffer a deep wound. In addition, another random generator will begin regressing.

Nerve Crusher: Your skillset includes putting others under stress. When a survivor fails a skillcheck, all of the following skillchecks will be Moderately/Considerably/Tremendously more difficult until they successfully complete one.

Fatal Fortress: Nobody deserves to enter your sanctuary. Survivors that enter the basement will suffer from the exhausted status effect for 15/20/30 seconds once they exit.
