Is there even a way to make the Twins not a slug heavy Killer?

In most cases, if you want to win as the Twins you need to slug, is there a way to make the Twins not as slug heavy and also not nerfing them into the ground?

I expected a killer like that to be played more like chess pieces sometimes lol

    Nope. Slugging is their design

Slugging is currently the only good way that the Twins have to apply pressure. If their power gave any significant amount of map control or utility in chases, then slugging would be less necessary to slow the game down. By improving their power in these regards, slugging becomes less of a core pillar of their gameplay.

yeah slugging is just what will happen you can't change it.

Since victor can't hook survivors and he would be weak as hell if he can't down them your forced to slug even if it's only partially. the most effective thing to do with him is to leave that survivor to try to get him on someone else or you know slug them and leave victor with them so you can do things near you.

My suggestion goes something like this

    • After landing a successful pounce, Victor clings onto the survivor even if they are injured
    • The survivor Victor clung to will now be revealed by killer instinct
    • Increase the time it takes to remove victor from 8 to 12 seconds
    • During this time, Charlotte will have a 10% increased movement speed

    So...

    1. Spend 15-20 seconds or so moving Victor to a survivor and attaching to them
    2. Survivor runs away while removing Victor
    3. Catch up to survivor after/slightly before Victor is gone
    4. Chase as M1 killer

    Very useful power

They'd have to either allow Victor to hook or give Charlotte some kind of way to quickly get to downed survivors while also making Victor not able to multi-down injured survivors. As it stands right now, switching, moving Charlotte to the downed survivor, picking them up, and hooking them just takes way too much time.

I'd say if there was a way to do that, it would probably have to involve buffing Victor with regards to being latched onto a Survivor. I don't know what that is, though.

They need the ability to summon Charlotte to Victor's location. That's at least 75% of it. Their pressure is somehow awful for two killers because Charlotte isn't threatening at all and Victor is only lethal if survivors are already injured.

By the time you latch a healthy survivor, re-engage with Charlotte, etc., you've spun your wheels for a really long time. Same goes for when you down a survivor with Victor, latch onto someone else, and then go to pick up the slug. It's not really pressure per se when you consider how long it would take another killer like Blight to do the same exact things. It's not clear what this killer is supposed to excel at.

Not an easy task when you have both the strongest and weakest killer in the game as one.
