Support the serious Gameplay

For hook rescue a survivor gets 1500 points, including the points for a Safe Hook Rescue of 500!
This is a very big and good change for survivors - I like it very much! (I am survivor and killer main)

But why can't we introduce a penalty for a tunneling killer?

For example, you get full points for a hanged survivor. If he is rescued by the hook and the killer immediately kills the rescued one again, you get -250 points. (in a certain time of approx. 5 seconds)

or as with the survivors: That the killers lose something in the direction of the emblem system/pips

It's just a question and a suggestion, what do you think?

Because it’s a strategy. Never ever should we remove points. Just add

How bout’ add points for NOT tunneling. Add points to survivors as a hook “distraction”. Add points for hiding but not being seen as the killer passes. Etc etc

Make fresh hooks more appealing from a BP and Emblem perspective instead of punishing tunneling.

So I won't be able to use Dying Light anymore? And I'll get penalty if survivour will just try to get downed after the unhook?
Do you understand that tunneling IS a serious and reasonable strategy. It gives you KILLS instead of many-many hooks and 0k at the end.

I understand it's a strategy. But this strategy is made too much of the Killer Rank 1-5 for me - it has less skill than another way of playing (my opinion). We are happy to add more points :)

    @ChesterTheMolester That's a good thought - I'd like that.

Sure, but can we get a penalty for survivors who touch a second or 3rd generator as well?

    Seems fair....

@FrenziedRoach It's good survivors who distract the killer when you notice from the way they play that you lose too much time you shouldn't be too focused on the survivors and go to the generators.

That was my problem in the beginning and the generators were all quickly repaired.

And why we should nerf Survivors? - Killers can be so strong too!

tunneling is a legit strat. no nerfs

I try not to tunnel, even to the point of equipping make your choice as a perk. However when survivors preform a rescue and im not even 40 meters from the hook it forces me to tunnel. A lot of the time when I get back to the hook the injured survivor is the only one I see. I wont let a guy go just so he doesnt "feel" tunneled. If I see you Im coming after you whether its your 1st time on hook or your last! Also, at rank 1-5 tunneling becomes your only way of eliminating survivors without getting 8 hooks and no kills! It has happened to me so many times I wont even accept an argument on this point. Survivors force tunneling to occur. No killer is going to just let players walk away, especially in a swf group where they are all playing optimal! It is literally the only way to come close to winning against a solid team.

FYI, the reduce the BP for an unhook to 1000, so in order to get the full amount you'd get before you have to do a safe unhook.

If they had a penalty for tunneling then why would we need a bonus for safe unhooks. That wouldn't make sense. Killers should be rewarded for not tunneling and, quite frankly, some perks require you to tunnel to take full advantage of, or if gens are going really fast then the best plan of action is to remove a survivor as quickly as possible. Can't punish players for a reasonable tactic, just add incentives for not doing "action X" vs doing it.

Doing well in a game will give you more BP than such a non-tunnel reward.
But we could need game mechanics that encourage non-tunneling and give you ingame benefits for it, slower gen speed etc
