Why does power struggle not work with flip flop?

I just pretty much sacked my whole team just to try out this perk and it doesnt even work.

Killer went for a 4k slug, im like perfect i was running Tenacity, UB, Flip flop, and power struggle.

He had 2 people hooked and i was in the pallet he came and picked me up and i couldn't even use power struggle even though my wiggle bar would have been 50% on pickup.

What is the point of this perk? You might can pull this off in lower ranks but in red ranks its just another useless perk to add to the other 98574748 ones we already have.

No competent red rank killer walks through pallets, ole demo boy even knew what i was trying to do and just kept shaking his head and doing 360s even though it was my first hook and all my team mates were ranked like the rainbow while im the only red rank besides the killer.

Game is going down hill fr. Can we change the meta somewhat?

Good thing this doesn't work. 4 man SWF already have too many advantages, can't be taken under a pallet would be a little too much

I'd easily rather take someone memeing these 2 perks over a variety of others.

Lol i had to use all 4 perk slots to try and get this to work and it only even has a chance to work if you slug.

If you think its OP your not doing your job right.

^ This. I use Tenacity, Flip-Flop, and Power Struggle just so I can use Power Struggle. I throw on Windows of Opportunity as my fourth to make it easier to find the pallets when crawling on the ground.

I actually had a killer leave me to bleed out because I crawled under a pallet. No joke, the Mikey had a disconnect ten seconds into the match, then he hooked someone and they suicided as me and the final one were slugged. I was under a pallet and Mikey refused to pick me up. He hit the pallet with his knife, I refused to move, so he let me bleed out instead. Craziness.

I used the build a lot in matches going for the achievement and tested it in KYF multiple times and its never failed on me once. You can't use it if you're wiggling so you just have to spam your action button as you're being picked up and it should work.

Granted I'm on PS4 so maybe it doesn't work on PC or other consoles? My friend never had issues with it either.

You're thinking of 1v1. The killer cannot possibly know who has what on your team. One person goes under a pallet with just flip flop and power struggle, and another survivor is close. It's not hard to delay the killer enough so the guy who is down can charge up the wiggle bar.

You don't need 4 perks to make it useful, only 2. And if one of the SWF has it, the killer can't know if other person has it or not. So only for the possiblity of the combo exist the killer will have to be mindful everytime someone is downed under a pallet. So yeah, i'm happy survivors don't get another free pass

Nobody is going to use this being alone, so you still gonna have to deal with DS, BT and yadda yadda, but also gonna be mindful that the survivor falls under a pallet and there's another one nearby, you will not be able to hook the first.

I truly believe that if they made this possible it would break the game.

power struggle is bugged right now in these cases. this bug does not always happen but depends on how much flip flop converts to wiggle compared to power struggle. this is one of 5 perks still bugged and not fixed yet.

    It wouldnt.

People seriously need to stop to pick one of the mediocre Survivor Perks every Chapter and call them out for being "OP" or "game-breaking".

With the stories I heard over the last year, a Survivor with For the People, Soul Guard (or Blood Pact...), Desperate Measures and Power Struggle would be the most OP thing in the game.

Damn, that's (for the people + blood pact) something I thought would be a problem in the past and came to find out that it wasn't. As a meme build it is OP, but in the long run, you give up too much for it to be useful.

The difference with this perk setup is that it doesn't require other survivors to be around, all it requires is the killer to let the survivors get to a pallet. What's a position most survivors are downed at? Pallets. If this became popular, killers would develop a habit of learning to immediately pick up survivors near pallets, or let them go if they slug them. Slugging overall would become a risky tactic with all of the tools that now exist to counter it; it would likely have an effect similar to DS, killers just leaving survivors at pallets on the ground.

So, firstly you have killers already vigilant about nearby survivors with flashlights, and survivors waiting to stun with pallets, but to add on top of that the worry of the current survivor stunning you if you don't pick them up fast enough? Crazy. So, you have to be careful about running around to check for survivors with flashlights, or survivors wanting to stun you with a pallet. But, if you do, you have to worry about being stunned by a survivor with this perk combo.

    Not game breaking at all.

It's a bug. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Yesterday for example, an elodie did it to me (I actually thought she wouldn't have it ready yet, since I left her slugged just the time to kick a gen nearby): as soon as I picked her up, she insta dropped the pallet on me

I didn't say they would. You don't get people to avoid the meta by giving them 100% useless perks. Compared to other perks. I would rather see 2 of this than 2 of other perks. This is a meme perk centered around the killer having bad pathing or not picking up a person on a pallet soon enough.

For me it works perfectly like that. Never had issues. I added Lithe so i can dissappear even easier after the stun.
