Why don't survivors kill themselves every game?

So, after being on a few trials and seeing they're just trapped there no matter how much they try to escape, why don't they just give up and suicide every single trial?

Also, considering the Entity feeds on hope, how does it keeps survivors from losing all hope after they succesfully escape matches but still go the camp?

From what I've read (I'm still a novice lore wise so apologies if this is incorrect) every time the survivors die in a trial, they lose their memory of being in the entities realm completely meaning they have more strong emotions that the entity can feed on, meaning that they believe that they've just arrived and can escape and not that they're in an endless loop.

If they knew that they're stuck the survivors wouldn't run or do anything thus not fueling the entity so the entity removes the memory of the survivors after every trial the only difference is that if they die/get sacrificed they lost a bit of hope and if they escape that hope returns to them

that's how the entity feeds on their emotions and not just survivors killers too
