thoughts on the elephant skin coming back?
what's your opinion on it coming back ? but this time to the store, I honestly feel like this kinda defeats the purpose of grinding the rift.

It's a community skin so its fine. The free stuff from the Rift that's common, uncommon or rare should stay exclusive though

Um, it was always known they were going to be put in the store. From the moment the first Rift was announced, the devs were quite upfront that all cosmetics would be put in the store sometime after 6+ months had passed. It actually took longer than expected for these cosmetics to arrive in the store.
(Your next comment will be: what's the point of grinding the Rift, then? Well, the answer to that is the premium track of the Rift costs less than buying all the cosmetics in the store. It also allows you to get cosmetics a lot sooner than anyone who waits to buy them in the store. The charms, unlike the cosmetics, are exclusive to the Rift; those will not be in the store, so if you want them you have to grind the Rift for them.)

I’m going to have to disagree. If one 1,080 skin is released in the store out of a 1,000 rift that comes with seven to eight skins, twenty plus charms, and the player gets the auric cells back. Well, it doesn’t defeat the purpose at all does it?
Plus I missed the first rift because I switched platforms early this year. Looking forward to the Hillbilly skin from it. 🤩

I don't get people who are upset. Most Rift outfits have already been exclusive for 1 year or even more in some cases. It was always known they'd return to the store eventually.
In the specific case of Demon slayer feng & Mr Puddles clown, they got it for free back in Rift #2, and shouldn't be mad, as anyone new has to buy it.

Why the ######### people care if another person is going to get a cool skin? I find it so pathetic that anyone would be bothered by other person have the same skin as them

My thoughts are that they’re doing exactly what they said they were going to do before they started doing the tomes and rifts: that select cosmetics will eventually be in the store for shards or cells at an undisclosed time. They were 100% transparent about this.
This shouldn’t mean players should bank on not bothering to grind the rift. A cosmetic someone may want that they hope will eventually arrive in the store might actually never happen.

Wasn't all Rift stuff eventually supposed to make its way to the store? This is a good thing, I think.

One thing I forgot to say, I've heard that they're only in the store for Iridescent Shards, and not Auric Cells. Probably because they were designed from the community in a contest.
If that's true then, getting those outfits is a bigger grind than actually getting level 70 in a Rift. Maybe the people without the outfit should be the ones complaining lol.

Why do you think some of us are so lax on the rift? As long as it isn't a charm we'll all get the toys eventually.

Its a false sense of exlcusivity and elitism. Look at games like world of warcraft its rife with it.
Same kind of mentality when people say to you they've been a fan of said band longer. Its meaningless.
They'd be fools not to open up these kind of cosmetics to the community eventually as people who missed them will buy them.

then dont grind again? they always said everyhing in the rift would just end up in the game eventually, thanks to your grind you had it earlier if you dont care about that then yeah, forget about the rift.

I like it, not that I need it as I got it for free anyway. I see no problem with giving others the chance at getting the outfits. Plus, the shards I would have needed to spend on those outfits can be spent on something else.

It's was always meant to be available for everyone at some point. Especially as a community made cosmetic.
For those who grinded it we got to play with it for more than a year kinda like each Hallow Blight cosmetics available each year in the store even tho some we grinded for during an event.
It seems fair for me that new people or people that come back to the game can access the same cosmetics. And as you can see they are at 21K shards which isn't cheap at all and requires way more grind than what we grinded for during the Rift. So yeah i don't mind it at all and i'm happy about the idea of seeing more Elephant Clown !
