Balancing certain perks is easy.

Okay so I'm no one to critise how the devs balance but, do they really need to spend six months analyzing a perk to balance it? I'm sure DS, Unbreakable, NoED or Dead Hard can be hard to balance but many garbage perks could be useful with simple tweaks.
For example, a few months ago they said they were looking into Technician and Fizated. Technician isn't even good for new survivors because hitting skill checks isn't a problem for no one. Instead, they could buff its ability to silence generators from afar. Fixated's change would be as easy as a small numbers buff and make it work while injured. Why do they take so long to figure this out???

You have to remember that there is like 1-2 people working on balance. They could probably easily pump out balance changes every patch, but they’re very limited in their resources.

why would they have such little staff on such an important side of any game?

There could be multiple reasons. Maybe they don’t see balance as an important aspect of the game. Maybe they do see it as important, but can’t spare the resources.
