Avoiding specific players
So, Ive been playing dead by daylight for the past 2 years on pc and recently for the past several months the player base has become the most toxic Ive ever seen I play with NZ and AUS players. I was thinking, overwatch has a system to avoid players and thought Dbd should do the same because recently certain players have been making my experience absolutely dreadful and makes me consider ever playing this game. I've already reported them for unsportsmanlike behaviour Tony Flame and Reggie Fils Amie. Behaviour could you please and a blacklist system or ban these 2 they're ruining our experiences

I've seen this suggested plenty of times, but like you said, the community is toxic, so if there was an 'avoid player' option, then people would use it to avoid killers who are better than them, in an attempt to play with weaker killers.
And you might want to remove those people's names as you can get banned from the forums for calling out other players.

Yeah remove their names, flame and shame is not looked upon friendly in the forums

i disagree. tony flame was just in my game and we memed because i looped him around a tree for over ten seconds. sometimes ‘toxic’ behaviour depends on how you interpret it, they seemed pretty good to me

I'd love something like this, because I can think of a few absolute trolls offhand I'd like to never play against ever again (one of whom blocked my friend in a basement corner and went afk for two hours, and another who plays the worst possible killer game and comes in chat afterward to talk about how he banged your mom, of course...) and at least one surv I'd never want on my team. But it's never going to happen because the player base isn't big enough and like people said above, some might try to abuse it to get easier matches. I know Overwatch's Avoid Player has a time limit, and you can only avoid a certain number of people, so maybe BHVR would be okay with something like that? It's just extremely unlikely.

Naming and shaming players is against the rules guys.
