what does it mean when the entity's claws are around one survivor's silhouette

i always see the claws (claws?) around one person at the bottom left hand corner. what does that mean?

    Answer ✓

    It means they are the killer's obsession. This could be because of your perks (STBFL or PWYF for example). But if you didn't bring obsession perks, it means they may have OoO or DS.

    Also, if you see the claws moving and wiggling, it means the obsession is being chased.

    the killers wants to give you a hug and you actively running away from them makes them sad.
