Reporting Players

Is there an email or support channel I can go through to report players? I just got out of a 31 minute match thanks to some sweaty ass killer who wouldnt hook the 3rd player. Kept picking her up and down so I couldnt get to her. Shes almost bled out. Fine. I hid in a closet and hes holding her looking for me so me being a team player I head on him and he drops her. Low and behold she starts walking next to him and sells me out. So he hooks me then gives her hatch. Is that against the rules? Thats feels like working with the killer and taking over the game to me. I'm also streaming so I have all of it in video. This is why I'm so against slugging for 4k. Takes over the entire game and then survivors start acting like morons in the hopes theyll be given hatch. It's bs.

When you report someone, they will response with "sorry, not enough information to do anything" or they will say "please use this other form to report that action" then go back to "sorry, not enough info"

On deadbydaylight main page, there is a HELP section on top. Feel free to report the person, but just know NOTHING will happen. I have reported Racism, hate speech, anti LGTBQ stuff, and they do not care at all. Game being held hostage by an asshat? so what, Not enough Info to do anything about it?

Wow. Thats crazy. Terrible. No wonder this game just keeps getting worse and worse. I dont mind dying or losing just dont hold me hostage and then use another survivor to seek me out its bullshit

The big issue is that they need video evidence for EVERYTHIG you report or it can't be proven so they can't do anything.

You could give them every other piece of evidence you can but without a video it means nothing. I've only done it once or twice when I felt it was needed, If they decide that it doesn't require action they won't do it. Even if it does you will never find out since they won't tell you a thing about it.

okay. yea i have video evidence i had literally just started streaming that match. It was 30 minutes long. He didnt want me to get hatch. Smh. Hate survivors like that. Should of just stayed in the closet and let her bleed out. She turned right around followed me and sold me out. I was like wow. Then had the nerve to say gg.

You have to report them in the game, which is mandatory and any additional evidence can be sent to support: https://support.deadbydaylight.com Read here for more: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/kb/articles/139-game-rules

And please note, those are people working on those reports and over thousand of players report others daily. Claiming they never ban anyone is simply an untrue statement. It may simply take a bit for them to get to it as it's handled on a case by case basis, but they take everything very serious. Insulting other people, especially using slurs, is not tolerated in any way.
