Bloodhunt Event

Don't know if I should've put it here or in the 'Survivor' category.

But I'm wondering if anybody else is facing this, ever since the Bloodhunt event started in 95% of my matches I see people rushing hooks, doing unsafe unhooks and the killer taking advantage of that by instantly putting them back on the hook, leading to a 2 survivors dead 4 generators left scene. I just don't understand why for many their main objective now is to just rush the hooks, get these people whether the killer is closeby or not. Like, first, atleast equip borrowed time, so that the other survivor also has a chance to live and enjoy the double bloodpoints event. And second, you get double points over the whole trial you have done, so fixing a generator gives it too. Maybe not that fast but fixing a generator gives, if i'm not wrong around 1250 points. That is close to a unhook. It kind of annoys me because I see how many do not have a fair chance, and their selfish decisions made the whole game turn bad for the survivors.
Not going to blame killers as they do what they are supposed to do, kill the survivors. But I can hardly find fun in this event.

P.S. With the last double bloodpoints event I have not noticed people only performing altruistic tasks which is why I'm questioning why it has to happen this time. I get that you get 1000 bloodpoints in the fraction of a second and +500 if the unhook is somewhat safe, but your team shouldn't suffer for that.
