Ok so most of us know that a survivor can become a killer after he or she loses all hope.

But can it work vise-versa. So a killer could gain hope and become a survivor?

I doubt it. A fair amount of them are tortured and forced to do what they do and the others enjoy killing.

Each killer can be classified into one of two categories: Evil Beings and Wrathful Victims. Evil Beings are people who murdered for pleasure or might. These killers would have no redemption value, and would not become survivors. Then there's Wrathful Victims - people who were wronged in life, and killed the people who wronged them, and not necessarily evil. They have redemption value.

Evil Beings - Trapper, Shape, Doctor, Huntress, Cannibal, Nightmare, Pig, Clown

    Wrathful Victims

    • Wraith - unknowingly caused the deaths of many people in his line of work. Killed his boss, a murderer.
    • Hillbilly - abused in childhood, he murdered his abusers.
    • Nurse - desperate to survive, she worked at the asylum and was abused by the inmates. She slaughtered the inmates when she couldn't take the abuse any longer.
    • Hag - kidnapped and fed upon, she escaped and killed her kidnappers.
    • Spirit - did not kill anyone, she was the victim of domestic violence and was almost murdered by her father.

Trapper did it on orders from his father. He was manipulated by his insane father and nothing superseded his father’s word. Even if what he was told was horrific. He did it out of a twisted sense of duty to his father.

Huntress doesn't know any better she was not told by her mother right and wrong and Killing other humans was nothing more than survival and even inher lore it states “Meat taste all the same after its been cooked over and open fire.” She doesn’t know its wrong, she’s just feeding herself.

Leatherface is the same as Trapper. He takes no pleasure in Killing. He mearly preforms under his sense of duty. Like he did for his family, he simply killed to provide the meat in a twisted sense of duty to his family. He feared more than anything failing them, and their expectations of him. He now has a duty he performs for The Entity. He fears failing it even more than he did his family.

Huntress simply doesn’t know better, and Leatherface and Trapper are simply preforming their duties as ordered out of a twisted manipulation.

Even if killers aren't mindcontrolled, I doubt that Entity would allow slightliest possibility for them to became survivors.
According to Benedict, there is nothing human left in them. They couldn't be saved :(
