Oh and I’ll farm a bit if one or two people dc or kill themselves on hook immediately. Their teammates shouldn’t be punished for them quitting.

alright. to be forced to farm is when you don't want to farm buit the killer keeps downing you and letting the others get you healed up and then downs just you once again, sometimes body blocks you so you can't get away and then you haven't gotten much but they got everything.
now a straight farming game is where everyone gathers around and the killer hooks each person twice, each person gets two unhooks and heals, gens, totems etc. this is what most people think about.
Now I do farming differently, I'll chase people, I'll play normally till I decide I've had enough hooks and then I just stop hooking people (usually after getting one for each (bbq stacks) I will then just down them and let them get up and keep moving, but it's a farm because I'm not going to go for the kill, so everyone is getting out, but it's more of a game instead of a farm just with the outcome determined by me. :)
the first one i listed is the one that's toxic and if you dc from that I'd suggest that you include that fact that it was your only way to get out (though all you realy need to do is crawl around for 4 minutes (I know boring) so when you report the farming, mention the fact that you dc'd because you couldn't get out any other way really. I mean if you've built up a huge penalty marker so you have a long wait time for a dc and now it's even longer and maybe the devs mnght remove a single penalty marker under your account I dunno what they could do to the player that was in that spot.

wha-.... what? You do know you can still do gens and escape if you choose not to farm right? The Killer cannot FORCE you to farm.

Farming maybe boring to you and some others but for the most point your alone on this one.

Farming once in awhile is okay to me. Breaks up the always sweaty try-harding and just reminds everyone they are still humans.
Also useful for getting some of the more unreasonable challenges done.

Just do the gens (as always) and GTFO. There's no way the system could track if the killer is farming or not.
I mostly end my huntress session with at least 1-2 "friendly" games. Playing only with Discordance & Bitter Murmur, just standing on a hill for longshots. In my exp 50% of the groups just rush the gens and leave early, and the other 50% appriciate the chill game. Don't see a problem here.

That's what farming is and when it's okay to farm. With a 2x bp event, 4 or 5 offerings + BBQ/WGLF.
You get like 250k from a single match. And how these other people want to farm, you get 25k per match and it takes the same time.
10 Minutes for 25k is not worth it.

all my friends who are good at the game dislike farming because it's boring. Seems like the community is split into two with this one;
1st Group: Bad Players - Love farming no matter what
2nd Group: Good Players - Hate Farming, or only farm under certain conditions (like 6x BP during events and using offerings)

Sounds like you and your friends are pretty boring yourselves.
I prefer what some have called "scary farming." You play like it's for real, but you take every pallet to the face, you let people heal, you scare them off gens and kick them, you chase them, down them, hook everyone twice, and once you've gotten your points and you're pretty sure they have theirs, the game is basically over and they skedaddle out the gate. It doesn't need to be everyone standing in a line waiting to be downed, hooked, and healed.
Also, I currently don't have BBQ so I go with Distressing/Beast of Prey/Thrill of the Hunt. I like to think it makes me work harder.
P.S. If I see anyone play streamers or cake, I instantly go into farming mode. Maximize those gains, bro.

Some farm matches carried the funniest moments I've seen in this game. Ever see Clown (Mr.Puddles) do 'Happy Feet' racing 4 slugs out the gate? (Damn Kate had Tenacity...cheater)
Point is, they're as fun as you make it..the same can be said for the game in general, but only in farm matches can you freely just meme around doing whatever.

Honestly, when you don't get games like this back to back it's sorta refreshing. It's a decent way to try out a new tactic of looping or evading that, for lack of a better term, is left costly.
Plus, doesn't you ever get tired of hide, fix, run, repeat? Sometimes is just nice and unexpected when something like this comes along. Personally I enjoy it when the game is hardcore pressured for the first whenever the gated are opened (if we don't die) then yeah, blood point me up! Might as well. Hook me or run with me but either way make it entertaining.

I'm a mix of the two groups remember this not esports game.
to me farming fine at the right time if there anything to complain about is when the killer just afk does nothing at least when it auto killer swing they weapon you can still get points now that something to complain about not farming.

afk Killers are more fun than farming killers, because then I'm just searching chests for a flashlight for free escape. While I do that, my mates do gens and I get out in less than 5 minutes... + I lose rank.
With a farming killer, it takes twice that time, because he slows everything down.

That’s literally what you can do in farming matches as well. Your mates will still do gens, they also want points in that category
if the killer doesn’t let you, you can report them for that. But to be fair, I never saw a killer doing that..

Bloodpoints or hard challenges/achievements. Personally I think it's boring, but I can understand why other people do it.

The grind for this game is painful, if you hate farming, jsut do objective and leave

Bloodpoints are always "free", just play the game and you get them. I already explained that in another comment. There is no such thing as actual "Free Bloodpoints" other than codes to redeem. Just play the game and stop ruining it for anyone who wants to play like a normal person.

free additional BP you would not have gotten had the killer been playing normal throughout the match.

ruin the gameplay? ruining the gameplay is the killer perma sluging you to death. You are doing the same thing you would be doing if the killer wasn't farming.
stop complaining? im not complaining im using the solution that's available to me.
cry to the dev? what will that accomplish?
stop playing? why dont you, you're the one thats complaining.
normal person? do you unironically think that killers who farm do it every game?( i almost never farm as killer, i did it a total of 5 times)
