I donβt think keys are balanced but with how screwed hitboxes are atm and how much survivors are getting nerfed they feel like a necessary evil in order to even attempt to win a game as survivor

Because why should I suffer if I got stuck with a bunch of potatoes that AFK'd or decided to kill themselves on first hook and we all know killers just want that 4k so they just abuse this and kill you

Your teammates being terrible is a completely different thing that could be resolved without punishing the killer. Also what do you mean killers that abuse this?

And i never stated that i do. You stated the killer deserves it, ignoring all possibilitys that he might not.

They come in handy with tunnelling killers. Kill one player off too soon and we can escape via hatch. If the killer wants to play that way we can play this wayπ€·ββοΈ

especially considering how many killers rely on snow ball. Some trappers will willingly give the one or even two free gens, uncontested in the name of setting up. Its just an unfair thing to have to account for.
There really should be some kind of key animation that can be denied, or something similar

You fail to take into account the "3 gen" situation, where a setup killer such as hag or trapper loses a lot of ground in the early game but is formidable after they've secured a good 3 gen. Once you get a SINGLE kill, then the rest of them just find the hatch on the other side of the map and bounce.
The game is set up in such a way where it gets harder for survivors as time goes on but easier for killers because less gens means you can more easily predict where survivors will be. Giving the option to hatch at end game significantly neutors killers with set ups, or perk builds based on tokens or exit gates
