Hitboxes are atrocious!
Killers can hit us from around the corner, they can hit us when we're halfway down out of a window. Hell, they can just swing their weapon at the start of a trial and they'll record a hit. Devs, you fooled us again thinking it was better, good work.

It's not hitboxes it's latency. Your connection to the killers server is bad so you get bad registration. You can see your ping at the lobby. If you got anything above 100 I'd dodge.

My Pings are good, always green and usually no more than 25. Is there a way to see everyone else's ping?

You can see other survivors in the pause menu (which I don't blame you if you had zero clue existed, there's almost no reason to open it during a game unless you need to leave the match), but you can't see the Killer's ping at any time.

pause the game and you can see other survivors ping. Not sure about the killer, but its only your ping that matters.

Killer's ping matters too, but yeah the ping of other survivors is mostly meaningless. Might cause some weird teleports here and there but that's about it.

Thats an old thing. It only matters on their end now, for seeing survivors and progress on gens. With dedicated servers now it doesn't really matter as long as you have a fast connection (in fact, and i know this from experience, it's hard for a high ping killer)

I don't think this is a ping thing. I've had ping of around 60-70 when I've checked and get hit like that all the time (and have made some "Wait, what??" hits as killer as well). Not sure if a hitbox or validation issue or something else

So I checked my matches tonight to see killer pings (thanks for the suggestion guys!), and I see their pings are over 100, whereas mine is no more than 75. Unfortunately, you can only see this in trial. It's misleading because my pings are always green in the lobby waiting for things to start. I wish we could see killer pings sooner.
