Has anyone else experienced these issues.
You load into the game. You get a lobby. You check if the pings good. It is. You check what servers the regions the others are on. They're the same region as you. You play the game. Start a chase. The internet thingy comes up on the left hand corner. A little lag lasts about three seconds. Another chase same thing. Next minute you can't use your power or weapon, and survivors freeze in place or walk into walls.
HOST DISCONNECTED FROM SERVER or INTERNET CONNECTION REQUIRED TO PLAY THE GAME.
I very had this three games in a row. I just woke up and had one. The other two were last night Before I quit due to my penalties being built up. And now it's on 15 mins. Don't mind the penalty. Just the fact that I'm getting kicked out of my games, ruining my fun. I'm convinced that it's not my internet (mobile hotspot, don't have wifi) and it works perfectly fine on other games.
I think it might be server sided, or I'm being DDOSed.
The reason I think it might be server side. Is that my internet has never let me down once and for a fact I'm playing another game right now. Nothings happening. The reason I think I'm being ddosed is due to someone I ran into two days ago. Who was really salty and harrassed me in the end game chat. And wanted to verse me again, telling me to que up as slinger or nurse (obviously choosing nurse, I'm horrible at Slinger) ever since then. Laggy games. But I highly doubt it. Leading me to heavily believe Its server side, but can still be convinced otherwise.
If you have a fix for this or can confirm that its server side or I'm being ddosed (never been ddosed before, so I have no idea)
If it also helps I got phone calls last night during game that would cause me to lag a lot but not this much. Ignored them. Didn't know who they were. The voicemails consisted of unrecognisable laughs (male). Which consisted of two others one on the same day and another on the encounter of the salt lord I encountered. I probably won't respond for a while as I am continuing on sculpilting Charlotte on blender. Thanks for reading this.

Not DDoS. With the new dedicated servers they shouldn't be able to see your IP in any way, and a DDoS would affect all service, not just DbD. Furthermore mobile data changed IP pretty much every time you turn it on and off.

You better play via ethernet cable if you don't. Wifi sometimes may cause losing packages.

Ok so it is a server problem thanks for confirming.
I don't know. I get scammers and other phone calls from people I dont know pretty reguarly. Doesn't help that i dont know phone numbers of people either. So I just ignore the first time, hope they leave a voicemail. Confirm who it is and add them if I know them. If not. Blocked. If they spam. Blocked. Until I know who they are and If I want to talk to them. I assume it's an old friend of mine who apparently knows how to ddos. But hasn't spoken to me in ages. But I did stop being friends with them cause they're a toxic #########. Would do it. But I doubt it.
As for the ethernet cable. I forgot those existed lmao. I'll get one for sure. Maybe itpl help.
