Prestige
Without further ado, I get down to business.
I want to touch on the prestige system in the game.
The game has a prestige system in which 1 prestige is approximately worth 1.5 million in-game currency. To upgrade a character from level 1 to level III-50, you need about 6 million "blood points", and even in this case, you will have to pay extra, because the game has more than 5 pages of skills and you will not be able to pump all the skills even to the first level in this short period of time. In total, one character will take from 7 million "blood points" to an unlimited number, I'll tell you so, this is a considerable amount of time and effort. And I think the reward for such incredible work is modest. 3 items are repainted in "blood" and a small bonus in the form of more frequent appearance of rare items-not the most worthy reward for 7 + million spent on the character. Even if you do not take into account the prestige, a well-pumped character, this is also an impressive amount, given the number of characters in the game.
What are the incentive options?
Personally, I have considered 2 ways to reward. The first is a score multiplier for a pumped character, but there are a few drawbacks: 1) players who receive prestige get a permanent bonus to points, which leads to a loss of meaning from the "blood hunt", and a bonus that is added or multiplied undermines the balance, for example, with a permanent bonus to the prestige of the character X3, a player even with the "blood hunt" X2 gets a bonus X6 (32K X6=192k, with "garlands" does not count), and 1 character with prestige in this case can simply "pay your bill". 2) from the first point it follows that to give such an advantage is an imbalance, and to deprive it is an injustice to players with prestige. The second, it seemed to me, is more fair. The essence of it is that for the prestige of a particular character, the player receives a discount on his items in "bloodweb", or rather -10% of the cost of the item in the network, for each level of prestige.
The total bonus will be 30%. That is, fully pumped prestige reduces the cost of items by 30% for a particular character. At the same time, no one was left offended, no one received an imbalance, but simply received at least a little decent encouragement for their efforts. Again, we all remember, for example, Aunt Anna's "rainbow axes," which the survivors especially dislike. So I suggest making some adjustments. The player begins to receive a reduction in the value of "purple" items from the second to the third prestige, inclusive, and" red " items only from the 3rd prestige. So "purple" -20%, " red " -10% and all the other 30% by the end of the third prestige.
I apologize in advance for any inaccuracies or incorrectly expressed words.
Please do not write about the "blood hunt", it does not happen often, in fact, that's why I thought about this kind of encouragement.
