Please change the Broken Key in the Upcoming Rework
Or just get rid of it. Change it's use. I know it's supposed to be for aura reading but I don't know one person who actually uses them. Also please make it so you can no longer get them in chests if you won't change them. They are literally useless without add-ons

I'd love to use it if it actually looked different and was less likely to get me murdered. I like the broken key a lot, actually.

That's a first. Also yeah I feel that. I've opened a chest too many times excited only to see the key inside was actually completely usless

I use broken key for aura reading. I get scared I'll get tunneled but actually the game turns out normal.
Sometimes towards the end, the killer comes after me in which I think it's cuz of the key.

It's because it doesn't look different. Which it should. I think they should lower the rarity too. To me it should be Uncommon instead of rare. But that's just me

It's like I said, I don't get enough use out of them or see enough value in them to warrant them being rare. But everyone has different opinions

I want to use it for aura reading but I can't.
Killers will think it's a hatch key and just ream me into the ground or face camp me or something.

Isn't worth it. Every other item has a more useful purpose compared to it. I can just bring one of those

When I solo and get a bunch of matches in a row having no Obsession I will throw on a Broken Key with the wedding ring on to force an Obsession and mitigate the direct tunnels.
I would love to see it reshaped to not look like a hatch key, I'd use broken ones more.

Give it a unique, broken model so it can be used EXCLUSIVELY as an aura reading item and the killer doesn't have to worry about it being able to open hatches.
Wedding Ring and Gold Token are seriously underrated! But any time I bring a skeleton Key I usually run Amber + Prayer Beads for maximum efficiency lol

The green key should have its own model and be the MOST powerful aura reader.
You know what? Swap aura reading time with the Skeleton Key. 30 seconds for the Green Key, 5 for the Purple, 10 for the Skeleton, so it actually have a solid, definitive use compared to its contemporaries. You wanna play around the hatch? Bring the purple and pink. You wanna sacrifice that for some nifty aura reading? Bring a green.
And for God's sake, make it spawn with a random addon in chests.
