Killer Idea: The Blind

Appearance: A hunched over person with their eyes shut, and a large scar in the center of their forehead. The weapon would be a heavy stick.

Speed: 115% (4.6m/s)

Terror Radius: 32 meters

Height: Average


Ability: Awakened Eye

The trial is much darker for the Blind, similar to how it is for the Nightmare, but without the ash as well as being slightly brighter.

While holding m2, the Blind slows down to 105%, and for up to 20 seconds can see the auras of all Survivors within 12 meters of himself. This cannot be used until it charges all the way up again. If used fully, it takes 60 seconds to recharge.

If someone does a rushed action while not in a chase, or fails a skillcheck, Awakened Eye gains 1 charge. The Blind can use 2 charges to teleport to the location of a rushed action or failed skillcheck, even in a chase, by clicking CTRL if it was within 40 meters. If this is to a pallet, that pallet is broken. A charge is not gained if the Blind teleports to the location of the rushed action or skillcheck. This must be used within 5 seconds of the action. The teleport also has a 1 second delay.


Add-ons would include:

  • Increasing the range of the aura reading
  • Increasing the brightness of Survivors
  • Increasing the range of the teleport
  • Decreasing the cooldown of the primary ability
  • Increasing the time the Blind has to teleport


Perks:


Blind Sight - Activated by clicking the Active Ability Button. This can only be used in a chase. For 1 second, you can see the aura of all Survivors currently in a chase, but everything else is completely black for this time. This has a cooldown of 60/40/20 seconds. All aura reading perks, add-ons, and abilities the Killer has have their range extended by 8 meters.

"It's sight is gone, but it sees us all."


Speak Up - Survivors who scream are revealed by Killer Instinct for 5 seconds. Uninjured Survivors make 50/75/100% more noise when sabotaging, cleansing a totem, healing another Survivor, vaulting, and running. (The noise the action makes itself is the same, but the noise they make themselves is what's heightened.)


Hex: Prying Eyes - For 40/50/60 seconds after injuring a Survivor, you can see the aura of all other Survivors within 8 meters of the injured Survivor. This effect disappears if they are healed, but not if they are downed. The effect persists if they are downed, but is paused if they are hooked.

"It has broken you, you are now it's eyes."

    Updated the power so that the teleport has a 1 second delay, so there's some counterplay.

    I love it!! Very unique. I think that this would bring some great variety into the game.
