Pay To Win?
Would the killers count as pay to win in some aspects? Perks are a different story considering the Shrine Of Secrets, but killers have abilities unlike survivors, which are just skins.
PS: Pls buff steve to have immortal powers

You could say that. But i would not say its a problem.
Fighting games have dlcs too and they are more competitive.
You can get the best killer without money. So you need no money to have the best chances.

No it’s not pay to win.
it’s true that different killers have different abilities and may be considered stronger or weaker, but in the end you can do good with every killer and the arguably strongest killer (when you reach the skill cap) is available from the start: Nurse.

I think it'd generally be healthier for the game if the licenced killers weren't among the strongest (doesn't mean they have to be F tier, mind)

I'm not sure it's quite Pay to Win...but it's dangerously close to flirting with that line.
Pay to Win doesn't necessarily mean you CAN'T get everything without paying for it but there are absolutely perks on paid for killers that are considered better. While you can eventually unlock these, it takes a lot of grinding and then a little bit of luck for the perks to show up in the Shrine.
The perks are (generally) pretty well balanced so I don't think there are any perks you HAVE to have to be competitive but there are definitely better perks in the "pay" pile over the free pile...

I kinda get what you're saying but killer powers all have different focuses. The killers released with the base game cover most of the other powers and help build the skills required for the DLC killers already.
Also, Nurse is included in base game and if she's all you play when you start the game then congratulations, you are now a main of arguably the best killer in the game.

Yeah i get what you're saying, most of the killers abilities aren't necessarily game breaking by any means, for example freddy, good perks but shiz ability. And bubba has billy which is mostly the same.

Without a fraction of a doubt, the best killer in the game is free - The Nurse. I honestly don't think there could ever be another killer added that could compete with her strength either...so the game could never be classed as pay to win.

I don't think the base mechanic of Freddy can compare with the base mechanic of Nurse tbh. She literally breaks the game.
He's strong in game right now, with the right perks/addons/mechanics but imo a top tier Nurse would beat a top tier Freddy.

Nurse is without a doubt the strongest killer in the game.
Freddy is a lot easier to play, but Nurse is stronger. So much stronger.

Not pay to win I think. The only killers that are locked behind a paywall are the licensed ones and, although nice to play, they do not bring any inherent advantage to other killer. All of the other ones can be purchased with shards.

The best Killer is provided to you for free (Nurse).
You also get some rather high skill-ceiling Killer's like Billy and Huntress.
It is definitely not pay to win. Pay for preference.
