Memento Mori has been nerf because is was unfair but when the keys going to nerf? I haven't seen any mention in the mid patch.

Decisive strike is a meta perk used from survivors and generates many problems for killers because survivors abuse it, for example: if a killer has a chase the survivor run to the locker, a survivor must try to escape not forcing this absurd situation.

Hex Immortal will be get a nerf because is a perk with reading aura, ok but tell me...when are going to nerf Object of Obsession?, some killers example: trapper, Hag, Freddy are at a disadvantage against this perk because gives much information to survivor.I see many contradictions in decisions when a perk is changed for having aura reading and the object of obsession remains unchanged.

I am not against the next changes but if u need to change some perks or addons try to do it on both sides in the same time.

I'm sorry about my english.

Keys are being worked on but the change is not as simple as mori's. They need a lot more work as they are used in a lot more mechanics so the items, add-ons, hatch, achievements etc all need to be looked at.

DS has been changed around 5 times since release and again they stated they are looking at the perk to reduce the abusable parts when its being used offensively. Lockers are a hard one as if the killer does tunnel then they can just slug. Both things are strats but its not great for the player so I can understand the need to have things which make remove some unfun options.

Imo DS should deactivate when you do an objective which progresses the game. Gens, unhooking etc and when you are fully healed up.

OoO I agree needs looked at but the usage is so low along with the escape rate its not on the radar. The issue is more the info that it gives with comms in game. Certain maps also make the perk too strong. Its just a perk which imo is not needed and I feel instead of complete aura it should be something which gives the killer info of the area they are in so they want chased, this could be done like a reverse spine chill but only works outside 16m on the survivors icon so no noise spam or aura. The survivor does not get any info, much like no mither it then becomes a perk which is meant to give a player more of a challenge.

for the mori change they only shifted a value from a 1 to 2 which can be done in a few seconds and put out in a hotfix

keys are an item so they need to change everything about them interactions, addons, trophies/achievements all the while making sure that multiple instances of keys (4 players with 4 keys) is balanced and not abusable this takes a lot of time.

the reason that they did not wait for the keys to be ready before nerfing morris is because there was no reason to delay. the devs just asked themselves "why let moris stay a problem if we can just make a change now?"

this is a common action all devs make in game development

Nah nah, keeping 4 survivors happy to a ratio of 1 killer is smarter to do than the other way around.

I very much disagree with the undying nerf cuz there are so many things survivors can do to find all the totems, from maps, small game, detectives hunch making it very easy to find the totems and if u dont want to use a perk then just a map that you can still keep for the next match with either an offering or just escaping

Maps are broken. Can’t remember how many times they don’t show totems,. Yesterday I had a game I didn’t see 1 totem around the all map. And no one totem was cleansed in the entire match

I believe they will rush the key changes as they did with moris so people dont all use it before is nerfed

Take your tinfoil hat off! The devs are not catering to anyone. Everyone even killers admitted that Mori’s were bad for the game and needed changes Keys are different cause they have to completely rework the item give it new addons and make it so the achievement when 4 survivors escape through a hatch is not impossible it’s harder to code than mori’s

I agree Moris needed to be changed but how they did it feels wrong. It's like the MoM change. It had to happen but the way they went about it made the thing useless.

BHVR has a bad habit of changing things that don't need changing or are irrelevant, and then completely ignoring things that need changing.

The Undying Hex and Morii changes are healthy for the game, yes, but it seems kind of ridiculous that no sort of key/hatch rework or any sort of tweak to survivor meta perks have come along to accompany them.

Even these Trapper and Wraith changes seem very too-little too late. Why not give Wraith more basekit windstorm? Why not make Brown Trapper Bag basekit? Are these the last changes we're going to see to these killers in a long time despite them being clearly easy to bully?

The devs patch slowly and inaccurately.

Oh yes I'm not saying that I agree with them, I just know that's how they think. They think "4 people pleased is better than 1" is a good marketing strategy, but in the long run I know it will backfire, like it is kinda now with those queue times and rank 20 killers often being faced with red ranks.
