DS Complaints

But do you guys even realize that the sole reason the perk even exists to begin with is due to the way a lot of Killers play?
It exists because Jamie L Curtis stabs Myers in the film.
It originally activated the moment the killer picked up a survivor with no other conditions.

The problem is the unhooked survivor doing a gen right in front of you then hopping into a locker as soon as you try to push them off the gen. They get 60 seconds to work on that gen and be invincible. That is the problem with ds

The only way I found to stop the "aggressive DS" is to eat it and move on in the game.
So DS gets counted by what it's supposed to prevent

There are absolutely scenarios where tunneling / camping are the correct / necessary plays if you're going for a 4K.
DS and BT are meant to mitigate these.
OP's unwillingness to make the correct play in these scenarios is just putting a hard cap on their skill level.

The killer can make mistakes the whole game and rely on NOED at the end.

My only issue with DS is it's not an "Anti-tunnel perk" as many people claim it is.

Elitist? No.. it's because Iearn how to play around it and make sure it isn't an issue. I've sat at Rank 1 survivor consistently for the last year and the amount of times i've lost due to being hit with multiple DS, I can count on both hands. You guys cry and act like literally every match survivors run DS/Unbreakable, when in fact that's hardly the case.
If you're worried about DS? slug them.. It clearly means you either A) Ran right back to the hook. or B) They're trying to body block; in both cases you should be slugging the survivor to create pressure and go after the one that unhooked them. This creates pressure and forces the remaining survivors to get off the gen(s).
If the survivor jumps into a locker? Camp it and wait it out.. they'll regret it.
If you choose to slug and the survivor does for some reason have Unbreakable; which again is not as common as you guys seem to think.. then so be it? Either way they weren't doing gens during that time.
I would really love to see some video examples from the people complaining about how overpowered DS is.

Survivors didn't have any second chance perks before Laurie came out and did fine, They would still do fine without them.

"Erm, DS isn't as strong as a three perk combo so it's okay"
Don;t forget these people always forget that there are 16 survivor perks in a match

Ah, yes. The "Decisive Strike is an anti-tunneling perk" lie remains strong with this one.
"DS Abuse is just a made up thing by Killers".
Bullcrap. It's abused every day and I watched it last night.
All gens completed. There was a skirmish about hooks trying to save everyone. One Survivor gets hooked. Friends save that person and run out. My friend downs that person 30 seconds from the gates.
Guess what? Survivor is now invincible and gets a free win. Because that Survivor has Decisive Strike. They can crawl right over the gates, because they have a WHOLE FREAKING MINUTE to do so.
All my friend could do was watch her crawl out.
Don't ever freaking tell me there is no such thing as DS Abuse. It's not the tooth fairy.

Here's how I'd make DS more of an anti-tunnel perk instead of a momentum crusher:
• You get DS after every unhook, and the timer is now 90 seconds
• However, when another player is downed, DS instantly deactivates
