PC - List of Assorted Bugs
I'l try to keep this as in format as posssible, but basically this is just a big list of the many many issues i've been running into recently, most wich appeared when Binding of Kin released. Here goes:
-Randomly, some of your matches will have horrible framerate and stuttering for no apparent reason. Has to be bug related since my framerate is usually much better than that, and it has no correlation to the map or killer since sometimes i'l have it on a map i've just played on without issues. There is no way to reproduce this reliably, it happens randomly. Happens once every 20 matches or so.
-Randomly, some of your matches will have horrible ping and constant rubber banding for no apparent reason. No, this is not my internet, i have confirmed this is a bug since i have once played a Kill Your Friends match with a group of friends and this bug happened, and EVERYONE had bad ping because of it. You cannot predict it at all since your ping will appear normal in the lobby screen. You'l lag and suffer for about a minute until the game gives up and boots you to the Menu ( No DC ban, strangely but thankfully ) . It's as random as the issue above this, and similarly, you also cannot reproduce it as it is entirely random. Happens very rarely but is VERY gamebreaking once it does.
-This is a wierd one, i don't quite know how to describe it. Sometimes it seems you desynch from the server? For example, if i'm Killer and i'm chasing a survivor, they'l suddenly stop acting like i'm chasing them and seemingly not respect my presence at all. Then i'l hit them and they will take no damage or react whatsoever... Then i'l be teleported back to a position i was in a couple seconds ago. It seems that happens as if you desynch momentarily and anything you do in that time is disregarded then when you resynch you're "teleported" back to your actual position. Happens with both sides and much like the similar issues it is entirely random and cannot be reproduced. I doubt it's related to my internet as it is very much fine when i play DBD, plus i don't even get a unstable connection icon on the top left when it occurs, so most likely a bug. Happens every now and then, not too often but still enough to be annoying.
-Hag's traps are bugged. Half of the time you teleport to her traps upon being triggered by a survivor, Hag will be facing a wall or random obstacles instead of the survivor, even if they are right next to her. This is a HUGE detriment to Hag gameplay since the basic strat of trap trigger>teleport>lunge>hit survivor is impossible to do reliably since most of the time you'l be swinging at a wall and losing the free hit, and if you decide to just wait and look at the survivor yourself, chances are they will get away as well due to the time lost doing so, especially considering you often trap at pallets and windows wich they can quickly use to get away. Easy to reproduce, just play Hag and watch as half of your teleports result in you staring at a wall and not the survivor. Happens very often, around half the time you teleport. If for whatever reason you can't reproduce this i can record video evidence that it occurs with me.
-You can get matchmaking banned from the killer disconnecting. Once i was playing a match versus a set of twins, and then the game froze for about 2 minutes suddenly. Then i got booted to the end screen and it said the killer disconnected, and i belived so since the stuttering for 2 minutes probably meant that they lost connection to the server. I even kept my items and bloodpoints so i believed it fine. But upon going back to the lobby i was matchmaking banned? How? I wasn't the one who DC'd. My connection was fine the entire match and i din't get a single unstable connection icon at the top left, yet i'm matchmaking banned as if i'm the one who DC'd despite everything else poiting that the killer did. I'm unsure if you can reproduce this, it seems to be a issue with the server if anything. Only happened once to me but i expect it to happen again sometime.
There are more issues i could talk about but they're all not as important as this and/or probably have been said already. Thank you for listening and best of luck fixing these, for they are all very much annoying me to no end these days... Wierdly enough it seems like not alot of people run into these issues like i do? Maybe it has to do with my system. I play on Windows 10 if that matters. Either way i assure you i am not lying, these are legitimate issues that affect me.
