Ormond Hatch Bug

Hello, So I was playing on PC with my friends, we did a key game, however when we completed all the gens we found that the hatch spawned on the stairs instead of the general floor (which we think is what caused the bug since all hatches spawn on ground level), I went to it to try to open it with a purple key and it did not work, there was no option to open it whatsoever, i did full 360's around it to check if my positioning was bad or if i was on the wrong side and still nothing happened so we eventually just left through the exit gate but I wanted to report this to see if this has happened to others as well. Thank you, below is a screenshot of me trying!
