My Opinions on the 4.5.0 PTB
HUD
I believe the ideas behind this new HUD are good ideas. I think adding the character portraits are a good idea, and a hook counter.
Its just the execution of them that make them awful. There should be no reason I have to look in in every spot of the screen to get info. If i need to see if someone's injured, how much pressure i have inflicted on the team, i have to look up, if I'm concerned about gens, i need to look all the way up. Huntress is still bugged with a no squish noise (Since Twins PTB) and the only way i will know if I hit them is in the upper right corner.... You get the point, you have to look all over the screen all the time to get info, which isn't good.
I've heard someone else say this, and i feel the same, i got eye strain very easily from having to move my eyes all over the screen 24/7.
I believe they need to not go through with this new HUD, but simply adjust what we have currently with the new features they want, Character Portraits and the Hook Counter.
Animations
I feel there a bit... stiff. I think when u go down is a good animation, and when ur slugged. But casually hanging around, running etc. just don't very good imo.
Things I Liked
I think for the most part the graphical updates on Crotus Pen and The Game aren't too bad. Just take time to get used to like everything else
UI Scaling for the HUD
Updating the default Nurse Outfit was really nice, I like the new look of that
They didn't change flashlights for one 😂
