Haddonfield AKA Lampkin Lane Sucks

Who else feels this way?

I feel like only Pig, Hag, Michael, Nurse, and Trapper (maybe) can even do partially well on this map.

The middle of the map has too much clutter.

The fence walls and hedges stretch on for too long and need to be more segmented.

Haddonfield aka The great wall is a map you better dodge, unless you can teleport around

Exactly. There's less line of sight on this map than even in swamp. Trying to find the last survivor during hatch rush is almost impossible if not for the fact that hatch tends to spawn near middle of map (I've noticed this is the only map that has a STRONG, very STRONG bias towards spawning hatch near middle of map).

I'd rather take swamp than this map. At least swamp you can play more than those five killers I mentioned above and at least sacrifice one or two survivors who are GOOD.

Also, I don't know why the houses all don't have the same top floor layout. Top floor should have no windows, but have two of those open areas where you can drop down (love it when cheeky survivors nod from there while looking down at you, lol.)

If you didnt slugg the 2nd last survivor, dont even bother. Just go afk until they find the hatch.
If you want to 4k, then there is no way aroudn slugging until devs rework the hatch mechanic

    Yeah, true enough.

If they want to make stealth-oriented maps, they need to decrease the timer before crows activate. Can't ######### do anything otherwise.

Haddonfield would be godly if killers, and only killers, could push their way through the hedges at reduced movement speed. That would be a really cool mechanic, and probably balance out a lot of loops, which would allow for more windows to be open on that map again :)

Yesssssssssssssssssssss, be like that chainsaw guy from Zombies Ate my Neighbors.

    Seriously though, we need this.

Haddonfield vs. New Map.... Which is more cluttered? LOL.

I immediately contemplate seppuku when I get this map as killer.

Lampkin Lane is the second worst map in the game only beaten by Larys.

I hadn't even thought of that zombie, but that makes me want walk-through hedges even more XD.

Lary's is bad for survivors. Ironically, it's horrible for Billy. Though, the library is so safe it's pretty redonkulous.

Yeah. I can imagine tons of dead zones. At least you'd have a better chance of getting vault grabs, lol.

A lot of people don't recommend using addons as Nurse, but I find that if you use the faster transportation addons, you can move so fast that it throws off good survivors.

Dude! Have you ever tried chasing an even semi-decent survivor through lery's! Its a quick way to a brain annurism or a panic attack! The amount of loops and windows, not to mention turns and clutter, let alone the horrible pallet placement is enough to make even the most seasoned killer want to dc! I am a rank 3 killer and have had multiple matches where I cant catch a single person in Lerys just because of the layout!

For Lery's, more areas should open up as survivors complete generators. For Lampkin Lane and Badham, there should be certain fence segments that the killer can break (like a pallet, except the survivor cannot interact with it at all).

Haddonfield is my least favorite map as a killer. The ridiculously long fences and hedges, the numerous houses that favor survivors in a chase, the awful totem placements, the blinding light of the police car, etc. About the only thing I actually like on the map is the basement location. I honestly feel that the generators on this map should have 20 extra charges to compensate for the survivor bias.

I refuse to play this map due to the fences and the infinite’s I deranking due to not wanting to play and quit as soon as I see it’s the map loss of progress due to bad design thanks bhvr.
