New UI needs rearranging
Right to the point: some people don't like the new UI, some people do, others are pretty neutral. Overall, I feel that the new UI has potential, however, the positioning of the elements really feels out of place, and I believe that altering the positioning will do much to help improve opinions on this UI. Currently they are as follows:
Top left: survivor statuses
Top center: Generator status
Top right: Bloodpoint feed
Middle left: hook status (killer-only)
Middle right: nothing
Bottom left: Item/ability + addons
Bottom center: interaction buttons
Bottom right: perks
A huge problem with this setup is that in this game, one wants to look down more than up; As well, it's normally slightly more effort for the eye to look up than down. Plus, I've seen lots of comments about how you're constantly going from corner to corner, and I agree it's an issue. I propose this arrangement would be better:
Top left: Hook status indicator. While the top left is often an undesirable spot, the simple nature of this icon and small amount of information it has to convey means it suffers less than other UI elements from this. (tangent: I don't see why only the killer can see this)
Top center: Generator status. This allows the player to see both team's objectives next to eachother, and I see no reason to really move it.
Top right: Perks. It is rare a player needs to check their own perks, and usually it's only for cooldowns or tokens, which can be discerned at a glance. The bottom corners are a much more valuable spot that the top corners, as you lose less information from the center of the screen than looking up.
Middle left: Bloodpoint feed. The icons of it in the corner are unusually small for the rest of the UI, and given the nature of it being a scrolling feed of events, I feel it more befits being on the middle row. It goes to the left for legacy purposes; why move something from the left side of the screen to the right?
Middle right: nothing.
Bottom left: Survivor statuses. Besides the legacy clause of this positioning, survivor health statuses is, in my experience, the single most important part of the UI, killer or survivor, as the data of who is healthy, whether the obsession is being chased, how close to the next hook state a survivor is, and what hook state they are on is very valuable knowledge. (as is the name if you wish to report bad behaviour). As such, it certainly deserves a bottom slot
Bottom center: Interaction buttons. This is a sensible place for it, so I'm fine with it not moving
Bottom Right: item/ability + addons. Originally I was going to slot this in the top corner, but I realized the devs want to make this a more dynamic element, based off the clown in the PTB, so I feel that this is appropriate.
If the devs were to want to act on this suggestion, please note that the left/right columns are largely interchangeable, and that the row and corner vs center status is what matters.
What do you readers think? Do you agree with this new arrangement?

I don't like the new UI. I don't understand why the information has to be spread out all over the screen. It definitely will make it harder for streamers to position their other windows.
I like having the remaining gens and team info in one spot.
I hope they give us the option to run "Classic UI" if we prefer.
