Corrupt Intervention it's so unfun to go against
Listen, Corrupt Intervention right now gives the Killer too much benefit and has no risk.
It's also way too long. 120 sec is too much. A Killer can find a survivor in the Beginn of a Match Chase him for 45 sec. (Which is a OK time) down him, Hook him and still has 40 sec. left.
In this time 3 Gens could be done. So it Shows how unfair this perk is. It absolut make the game unfun and boring.
Pls Devs, reduce the time to Idk 80 sec. or make it so it does only 2 gens that you can't repair.

keep in mind that after those 120 seconds are over the killer is basically playing with 3 perks for the rest of the game, it's basically a hex that won't get destroyed instantly

Nice bait

I have to say, this is the first time i've ever heard anyone complain about Corrupt Intervention, and
I'm sorry you really didn't enjoy it?
But it's completely fine.

Mate I'm going to be honest it sounds like your making a joke thread trying to entice killers to complain about survivor entitlement.
If your not then this perk isn't OP. It's a decent perk that really helps set up killers like Myers and Trapper. If a gen is blocked then go look for another gen since there is 7 on the map.
Also a 45 second chase at the beginning of the game is quite bad. No pallets have been used so you shouldn't be going down that fast. The starting chase should be at least 1 and a half minutes or more.

It's the least offensive of the Gen-stall perks mate. I'd rather see Corrupt Intervention every game than Ruin or Weasel, hell, make it automatic and I'd still prefer it.

So A Hex without risk... Sounds fair?

I am not sure if I should take this seriously or not. It's hard to recognize in this forum or game in general.
1 -
the risk being that survivors will spawn near unblocked gens or that the perk doesn't block the gens you want, it's entirely down to RNG and sometimes it will screw you over
2 -
Nope I never saw that. I always Span to a Blocked Gen. And how can this screw you??
0 -
because if the perk doesn't block off gens that are near survivors you have essentially wasted a perk slot and given them ample time to do gens, the fact you always spawn near blocked ones is down to bad luck
1 -
Dude how often do you play against Corrupt??
Also I'm glad If a random teammate lives atleast 40 sec. and don't die in the First 10 sec. of the game.
And this perk has no risk at all.

Nice trolling:)
I've had many matches in high ranks where the survivors just hide and wait until the 120 secs are down sweety:) and that happened to me most of the time with Plague and you cant do anything about it:) after the time the perk just deactivates and becomes useless for the rest of the WHOLE MATCH which is more punishing and i had to retract from using it because it did more harm than good for my matches as a killer....
Just stop OK?

Wait If YOU can't find a survivor for 2 min. then it's your fault for losing.

I was waiting for another hard biased thread from him. Check his old posts, some of them are hilarious.

If you can't find another Gen in 2 minutes other than those blocked ones than you should really think about your playstyle, also from what you said, you think staying on a Gen for 80 seconds is fun? Or gen rushing? Because that's what this perk does, it gives the Killer some breathing time at the start of the game, because that's where the Killer sucks the most.

You talk as if this perk blocks all of the gens, lol. Blocking 3 gens barely does anything for a team that has more than one day into this game.

I don't have a problem with Corrupt Intervention when playing as a Survivor - I do totems or find an unblocked gen. The killer then only has 3 perks to play the rest of the game with, so hopefully they do get a benefit out of it early in a match and get a down whilst those gens are blocked. I think that's the whole nature of the perk.
I don't find it unfun to play against because as a Survivor you can still get gens done, still get totems done, still have a chase with the killer.
2 -
Quite often. I'd say I faced it more times last night than Pop or Ruin (played about 15 games). All it does is stop me from doing gens for about 20 seconds.
A random lasting 40 seconds isn't anything special. It's better than 10 seconds but they probably wasted 3 pallets during that chase. Also trying to use randoms as an excuse for a perk being OP isn't a good argument.
The perk has no risks. Let's just talk about the risks:
- Survivors can hide for the full 2 minutes.
- You can spawn in the middle of the map and the gens are awkwardly split.
- It can block gens that you'd prefer are completed.
- Survivors might not spawn near a corrupted gen.
Once the perk is gone, it's gone. The counter play to this perk is basically being a smart survivor.
Don't think I will lol my head might hurt afterwards.

It's a balanced perk that helps the killer but still can be countered by guess what moving away.

*complains about corrupt intervention*
now I’ve seen everything on the forums
2 -
Corrupt intervention is a complete waste of a perk slot and any killer using it needs to learn to patrol better. I've been in matches where 1 or two other survivors will hide and wait out the timer. This is a great tactic because it completely wastes its purpose and makes the killer look like an idiot.

Forget Corrupt it’s Monstrous Shine that is really OP.

Nice bait.

Not... really? If the killer is just patrolling those 5 gens (Which don't always spawn together) bait a chase. Simple as that. If you're in a SWF you can literally just stealth it and now they have 3 perks and no hook progress. The killer has to be proactive to get any use out of corrupt.

120 seconds of doing totems, opening chests, finding out who the killer is, and idk....doing a gen that is unblocked
and the perk becomes unusable after 120 seconds
1 -
Nice bait, next you'll be complaining about fire up.
1 -
As has already been said it's the least annoying of the gen defense perks. I'd rather go against corrupt than ruin anyday. At least it doesn't regress your hard work upon first chase!
0 -
I probably sound dumb asking this but what does this perk even do?
0 -
What killer perks do you like to play against? Territorial Imperative, Predator, Monstrous Shrine, Beast of Prey, Zanshine Tactics perhaps?
0 -
I've literally never said "Wow -- we lost that match because of Corrupt Intervension", lol.
This bait and trolling aside, on a serious note, there are both survivors and killers who play the game who, I think, believe ANY perk that actually benefits their opponent in a match in any way is OP somehow and needs to be changed.
