Ruin is a problem
Also casually finds the ruin totem out in the open after leaving the generator I was working in 5 seconds.
Clearly this is a set back to my laidback survivor experience and I demand a Nerf.

That's why undying was needed, sadly.

Was, now basically instead of ruin being gone in like 30 seconds it might be up a minute....before the killer is down to only 2 perks for the duration of the game lol.
Might have been fine if they let the aura read stay so you had one chance to defend your one totem; before the aura read defense was gone all game but w/e....

If it goes away in 1 minute than why do half the killers in the game use it?

Well it might be an issue, but the one thing keeping it from being as big of an issue is getting nerfed, so yeah.

I assume it's cuz half the time it tilts survivors into losing. It's like clicking a flash light against a killer, except less detrimental.

Because of current undying, old habbits, etc.. Most major killer mains and streamers stopped using it for the most part until undying came around; but then they stopped using that combo because it felt a bit too cheesy sometimes (Unless they were going against like a full kitted SWF or something). It could be strong if it stayed up, but it was far too unreliable and was often gone very quickly so most did not bother with it; and opted for something more reliable like corrupt and pop.
Besides; Self Care is the most used perk in the game; doesn't mean it's good.

Funny you say that about self care... I think either nerfing it into the ground or buffing it a little would help solo queue a massive amount. Either option would work.

the new hex:ruin doesnt work without defense like undying. i mean it already is a lottery.
expect a lot of gen rushers when the nerf is here, like when they all came in with keys after the mori nerf...
but hey, wraith is harder to see now, thats something right?
