Will dead hard ever be fixed?
Getting real tired of being exhausted on the ground, like seriously I always get reminded why I don't used this perk anymore. OP perk btw

On the PTB they gave you the ability to completely deny killers when they wait out your dead hard by changing direction; giving it a tremendous buff. So I mean, even if all that still happens it's going to be substantially better.
I wouldn't call it bad because it has some reliability issues though, it's still a meta perk.

Dead hard cannot be used to dodge hits anymore. I've just stopped trying to dodge a hit to save the frustration of seeing my character fall to the floor exhausted with no animation. It's still BS for its main use though, which is for distance. That works 100% of the time.

The problem is if you fix it DH people will most likely use it even more. And I can tell you that if you get robbed every single chase you getting mad. Itfeels very frustrating if you did sth right as a killer or the survior did sth wrong but you as a killer get punished by an extended chase...3 times... per survivor... Urgh...
The only reason why I would be okay with it is Bloodlust. BL1 coming in clutch very often. To use DH to equalize this mechanic seems acceptable. The killer gets buffed for missplaying and you have sth to correct that for a moment.
But once BL is gone this perk is el busto. It will be the most annoying and unfait bs. And having it working all the time isnt helpful. And exhaustion perks like that will need adjustments anyway.

I think you're right. I remember back in the day you could dodge hits more reliably. But now it seems you have to use DH earlier or risk getting hit.
But like you said, DH's main strength is being able to gain extra distance. The killer has no way to counter that (aside from add-ons).
I wish the devs would fix Dead Hard but also make some of the maps less safe for survivors.

"Eventually," happens to be BHVR's favorite word because it can mean soon, or in a couple years.
