Why are the BP benefits getting stingier?

Iunno, I don't mean to complain... but I've been playing regularly for more than two years and am only partially 'complete'; I play almost every killer game using BBQ and chili with a BP offering if I have one; I have finished every rift, and still, at this point I have only the killers at P3 with most at 50. All of my survivors are 50, some P1-3.

When new killers are released it takes about 7m BP to level a new character, and then get those perks on all characters. That's like leveling a different character to P3-50.

The grind is a bit gnarly in this game. So, I don't know why bloodhunts are commonly 1.5x BP, and XP bonus perks like BBQ have become really rare in the bloodwebs - according to my counts, it takes about 150 bloodwebs now to see BBQ and chili. What gives, guys?

P.S. You might be wondering why I'm not in the game taking advantage of the bloodhunt instead of complaining on here. It's because of the lag that started a little over a month ago - it seems like it might have to do with hit validation? Not sure.
