What about debuffing hooked survivors?
You get punished as a killer for "camping" and "tunneling" even if its reasonable to do so, or you didnt to both of them at all but certain perks trigger anyway. (Doc with massive terror radius, 3 survivors around the hook etc...)
Why can somebody that is on his DS timer still repair a generator or heal others, disarm traps, basically any action at all?
Why can somebody that is on BT still body block the killer even if he DOESN´t want to tunnel him?
Why does DS trigger when the killer chased and hooked another survivor in the meantime? How did he tunnel in any way?
So many questions and no answers at all... beside fixing these state perks, hooked survivors should get a debuff after being unhooked.
if its the smartest thing to "tunnel" or "camp" somebody, and the killer STILL decides to go for the worse target, the unhooked guy should get a massive debuff for intentionally being left alive. The debuff should motivate the unhooked guy to not unhook somebody else, repair a gen or something instead of actually getting into a safer area.

It really is the smartest thing to tunnel though. I have been playing games without ruin undying or pop and it’s pretty ridiculous how fast the gens go.
If you are an M1 killer I don’t understand what else you are expected to do. A survivor can sit there and camp a few pallets and you will lose half your generators for it. And then you are supposed to just walk away?
I think the perk dying light is supposed to encourage this but it’s honestly terrible.

how do I pressure gens when several survivors are around me or even following me to the hook? xD
im ok with ds not being an anti tunnel perk, but BT most certainly is, right?

I just played a trapper game where the unhooked survivor straight went into a trap... but i wasnt "allowed" to pick him up due to Ds, and hitting him would have resultet him in getting out of the trap + sprint burst with BT...
so i had to let him go for free :D

I would just eat the DS. With pop being nerfed and ruin undying about to go I’m seriously debating on like NOED or maybe something like forced penance to tunnel better.
Gen control is pretty much out the window on most killers. Sloppy butcher is halfway dead too because you will get full healing build survivors mixed in with full meta survivors and they heal back to full in under 8 seconds.
Im having a hard time justifying playing any killer that’s not top tier or doesn’t have a 1 shot down. M1 killers are pretty terrible with no real slowdown options.

Not necessarily... when the gens are done, or i cant stop the last guy from repairing the last gen anyway, leaving the hook is stupid, but you still get punished for it.

I haven't been having any issues with just running corrupt for my only gen control against 4 man swf's with full meta. It's just about getting downs as quick as possible. Yea I mean you might lose some games sometimes, but those times it really is out of your control. I even run off meta with zero gen control, and still do fine. It's just you have to be as effective as possible for it to work out in the end. Any chase longer than 30 seconds is going to cost you most of the time. I usually play clown most of my games, and it seems to work out fine. Wins are more satisfying when you don't run meta in my opinion.
